Come to India during November to March if you want most soothing weather and if you want to streach you can come in September to April as well but please try to avoid to come to India at any cost (unless it is some business related commitments) in May to August because it is very very hot specially this year even for local Indians so God knows how you people from cold climate are going to feel specially the little Alphonso. It would be best if you come around 1 November 2024 because that is the day for this year Deepawali and visit some of your local fam home on Deepawali. Only consider coming in May to August if you want to taste different types of Mangoes because it is a Mango season.

@@alfonsoandjessica One more suggestion divide India in few regions like Central India, Eastern India, Western India, Nothern India, Southern India, North East India, Indian Islands, Indian Himalayan States and visit one or two regions at a time if your schedule permits or if you have time and really wanna go indepth then go One state at a time and start from south because Southern India is less hectic compare to northern India except few Southern Indian Cities. And as you are coming to India here are few more countries you should definately check out like Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. Bhutan would be my top pick and if you choose Bhutan or Nepal try to book for few days of stay with the local people to know how local people live and you can do the same in Indian Himalayan states as well like Himcahl Pradesh and Uttarkhand. I myself a Surti , so there is nothing for a Foreigner which is amazes him to see in Vadodara, Surat , Ahmedabad,etc except for the Rann of Kuch. We should recommend them Kerla , Laddakh, North East etc some places which are less hectic cuz they are travelling with a Kid .
