They ate normal food in their feasts, so stews and sandwiches aren't out of the HP universe, but they really missed out on adding things like butter beer, chocolate frogs, and even a replica of the "happee birthdae harry" cake that Hagrid made for Harry. Serving stew in a cauldron would have also been a nice touch. Little things like that are what make themed restaurants worth going to, so I hope they add in some more magic later. The smoky bubbles were super cool, at least!

A very interesting thematic cafe experience, though there seems to be lots of background noise which includes the movie soundtrack? They could:ve opted for a more cozy and less intrusive version which won't get into one's nerves after so many repeats. 😊

As an Englishwoman I am so offended by this food 😂 was the side dish meant to be beans on toast? Where was the bean sauce? Where was the butter? A pie with one piece of meat and a potato?! That should be a hearty meal made with love and definitely not served with rice, omg! To finish an eton mess with cinnamon?! Come on! Eton mess is meringue, strawberries and cream which can be switched with ice cream. All smashed up, not whole strawberries 🤦🏼‍♀️ Why couldn't they look up the traditional English foods they are making! And no bloody butterbeer! Smh!

So basically the theme, atmosphere, and creativity was incredible, but the food quality and portions failed to deliver the same caliber....I wanted to go but doesn't seem worth the hype unless you're a die hard fan that just wants to say you were there. Don't expect much else...😢

The location for outside of hogwarts before they made it CGI is Alnwick castle England. Next to Hagrids hut is a treehouse that's a restaurant. If you want to eat somewhere associated with Harry potter you can literally go to hogwarts and eat dinner in a treehouse.

Experience looks fun, but yeahhhhh... the food didn't really make me go, 'Yes make time to go here!' I would have go with theme entrees like say stuffed cornish hen for griffendor that was on the spicy side that got the blood boiling, a kind of country fried steak shaped like raven silhouette, but with black colored breading, something was more savory, and subtle for raven claw, for hufflepuff something in like a wellington that played with sweet and savory, and for slitheren, a fish fillet cut like shape of a snake that was very herbacious, with a kick of sharp notes and salt, green herbal sauce with garlic notes. For giggles a very spicy Shepard's pie with the mash in the shape of a skull and toasted by torch on top for a death eater theme entree. Rabbit raviolli with a white sauce for the french school for that delicate and exotic hit, and for russian school should have just hunk of unapologetic meat / beef on top of that flakey filo bread with thick sauce. Simple, Filling, and make you strong like iron, like Timur! XD

Those veggies look so raw as the side, unacceptable. The broccoli looks like it may be steamed but none of it is seasoned. Such a shame for themed restaurants in Japan, a little seasoning shaker, salt, pepper and butter go a long way! The theming is great though, and the loud battle music is pretty funny.

I think the food looked ok, but probably wasn’t worth the price. I couldn’t go to a restaurant with so few options and none that really matched the theme. But then they might not have the rights to butter beer, etc. At least they did try to make it look interesting and I liked what they did with the bubbles on the drinks.

The decor is nice, I did like the bubble/smoke effect. I didn't catch what the typical cost is. A lot of Yelp Harry Potter restaurants have $$ which means middle prices. I'd be willing to pay maybe $30 for the ambiance and nearly ignore the food which looked boring. I understand there's no alcohol. Food in the books wasn't detailed really unless it was Hagrid's rock hard cookies and the fact that Aunt Petunia was starving Harry. Tin of cold soup anyone?

You can try booking weeks in advance but I recommend to do it months in advance since it might be full if you try it weeks before and then you wouldn’t be able to go

I usually love everything Japan has to offer for tourists but this Harry Potter cafe was a horrible exception. Booked weeks in advance, hyped up my expectation only to almost puke at the restaurant. Nothing was close to edible. The watery “stew” looked literally sewage and definitely takes the crown of the most disgusting food I ever had in my whole life. Please avoid at any cost. The worst $150 I spent I ever.
