Hey Quang, welcome to Bangkok and thank you so much for coming to Phed Mark! The yolks are so orange because they are duck eggs. For the basil, it's a combination of mostly kaprao which is "holy basil," and clove basil or tree basil, which is that slight mintiness.

Hi quang! The green vegetable you tried at the end is holy basil and the dish, pad gra prao, translates to stir fried basil. Have fun in Thailand and I hope you try many delicious restaurants as you can👍🏼

That looked like perilla leaf but according to Hot Thai Kitchen, in Thailand they make pad kra pow with holy basil which is closer to Italian basil in flavor. I don’t know, I’m not Thai but have followed Mark and Pai for years. I’ve made this several times following her recipe and it’s so delicious ❤ thank you and so glad to see you and Linh are traveling!

There's no missing spicy foods here, I'm sure of it! 💖 It'd be cool if one day Quang, Mark, and Mikey Chen did a collaboration together. 👌 I haven't watched your channel in awhile but wow wifey has really became a great foodie! In Thailand we have "Kai Tod Hat Yai" which means Hat Yai style fried chicken. It's famous, tasty, and cheap. Thanks for visiting Thailand.

Quang, you are so talented both as a cook and a food reviewer. That being said, the wet chewing noises you make when you eat drive me crazy - I never really finish watching a whole video. I try but I can't. Do you chew like than on purpose to make an ASMR statement?

Exactly why I stopped watching him about two years ago! Even when he'd eat with family, he'd be the only one making those chewy/chompy/unappetizing noises, and smacking his lips, while everyone else would eat without those noises. I only watched this, because I saw Mark's name, and that he had a restaurant...but immediately got worried about the stomach-churning noises that were about to come, when I realized who was doing the review...
