Went on Sunday! Got the 3 piece fried chicken with a biscuit, Mac, and potato salad. Delicious!! Don't sleep on the catfish nuggets. Also, banana pudding and peach cobbler was sensational. Everything about this place was perfect; amazing food, dope music, fast service. Thanks for putting me on 😎

New subscriber alert! I love fixins, my favorite soul food spot, the best soul food in LA. That is no exaggeration. The food is delicious, always cooked to perfection. It is comfort food. It reminds me of childhood food, especially kool-aid. I enjoyed the music that was playing there as well. Agree with you. It is a lovely, fun, spacious, hip place to go. Service is top-notch. Everyone that works there is kind, efficient, and welcoming. Everything on that menu is perfection. I have been there about three times, and I am returning soon. I love your positive energy and well-thought out-informative, creative videos on the best places to eat. I am binge-watching your videos, lol I am a foodie, so I need to know where to spend my coin and get the best meals. I am going to take your suggestions and do all day food tour. Hi Steve! EXCELLENT CHOICE! The expressions on your face told it all! DELICIOUS!!! My mom makes fried green tomatoes for my dad. He LOVES THEM. Mom tries everything! She said she made a Baked Alaska once! Plus, all the Japanese dishes. Her home made bread was the best. The braided kind with the hard outside from the egg white glaze that was brushed on prior to baking. But, I've heard oxtail is really good. I've never been privy to having any thus far. I've had fried catfish and it was good. My dad's friend had a restaurant and he caught the catfish in the river to cook in his restaurant, really fresh. We have a mac n cheese only restaurant. That's all they serve because I think there are different kinds of mac n cheese? I love bread, so the biscuits and cornbread... nummy, nummy, nummy! Mom makes cornbread with jalapenos in it!!! It's different. I think all the foods you had there was great. The collard greens, do they put bacon in it sometimes? If it's tasty that's a way to get kids eating veggies! 👍. I wonder if they have a sampler platter? Too many great choices to pick, but that would be way too much food. It all looks fantastic!!! This was an excellent place to review! Thank you!!? Oh, what flavor Cool-Aid did you choose? I saw several colors. A red, a blue and an orange colored drink. I keep seeing the Cool-Aid guy running through the wall with a drink of Cool-Aid in his hand!
