Pizza and cakes at McDonald's...what a timeline we're living in! A pretty cool McDonald's! Here on Long Island, there's a McDonald's inside a Georgian-style mansion called the Denton House (originally built in 1795 as a farmhouse before it became a mansion in the 1860s). McDonald's was going to demolish it in the 1980s because the property was dilapidated at that point and they wanted to build a drive-thru, but after the locals fought back, McDonald's was allowed to build a drive-thru under the condition that they keep the building and did an extensive renovation and restored the exterior. It underwent another renovation in 2017 while still maintaining its look. Oklahoma was once home to the world's largest McDonald's! Vinita, Oklahoma built a glasshouse restaurant over a highway similar to the tollway oasis built in Chicagoland (this one in Oklahoma actually predates the ones in Illinois). It opened in 1957 as a Howard Johnson's but McDonald's took over the space in 1988 and thus it became the world's largest McDonald's. It's no longer dedicated McDonald's as back in 2013 to 2014, it had a renovation and it now shares the space with Subway and Kum & Go.

This Mcky-Dee's 2nd level is like a cross BETWEEN CHUCKLE CHEESE + DAVE'S & BUSTER'S combined! It's also good that they carry more than just their regular cuisine. Worth a trip to it! 😋👍💯

Wow… that’s one huge McDonald’s. Neat that they have some alternatives to the regular menu. The two items you both got would definitely be on top of my list to try. It’s so nice to find someone else who likes pineapple pizza. That’s my favorite! Yummy 😋

We had a "Mac Tonight" at our Mcdonald's (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_Tonight). He is an animatronic and he would sing all types of songs. That is awesome that they kept him and placed him up high and safe!! Too fun! - Jess

We usually stay about a 20 minute walk away from here at Avanti International and always have to make at least a couple visits to this McDonald’s! It’s always a lot of fun, and way better than the ones in London in my opinion lol! Thanks for sharing this Jenna & Dale! ❤

Interesting McDonalds. I don’t know what I expected, but I did not really expect an arcade & bigger play area. You’re right, Chuckie Cheese! Lol. Small Cakes prices did not seem too high. There is an excellent bakery near me, but they wanted almost $6 per cookie for cute 4th of July cookies. Maybe it is just me, but I prefer to order at a counter with a live person!

We love McDonald's and was not a fan of this one. We've been there twice once. But it was right next to the Rosen Inn hotel that you use to stay at. James cake he got was stale and the caramel sundae I ordered was all melted by the time they gave it to me 🤷But went back for breakfast and it was ok.
