What are doubles you ask? They are a delicious meal (typically breakfast) that is very popular here in Grenada. The actual dish was originated in Trinidad & Tobago (a couple of islands south east of here), but the flavours and spices probably find their origins in India. Basically the dish consists of a tasty chana (chickpea) curry rolled inside of a soft bara bread which is flattened and fried until golden brown. The sauces are what make the double so good and they typically include mango, shadon beni, tamarind and pepper sauce.
