Next you guys should do...eating a specific color. Spin the wheel for different colors for each meal. You guys are only allowed to eat food of that color for that meal.

I work at a gas station and although we make sure all of our food is fresh I would not trust those sandwiches. Hot food is good for 6 hours and should always have the throw away time written on the back but most people that work at gas stations don't care about the customers. Check expiration dates on everything before buying it. It was fun seeing you guys get so excited about it in the beginning but by dinner you were all just as un impressed with your choices as I am every day😂 love my job but junk food gets boring quick.

It was a crazy idea. I suppose it goes to show there is food at most gas stations - some better and more options than others. There were good choices to be made even at AM/PM. I liked the idea of beef jerky, the hot sandwiches and cold sandwiches, nuts, & pretzels. I love how mom said no desserts at breakfast and about 3/4 of the kids got donuts.

My kids would definitely be Anaveah, lol like mom I can’t eat anything here!

You guys should put the kids into teams, put each team name on the spinner, and then spin to see which team prepares and cooks each meal ❤

Addison had genuine concern. There is no regulation for food handling at a gas station. And no requirement for personnel to have a food handlers card or any other safety training.

Over here on the east coast we have these chain gas stations that have full made to order kitchens (touch screens). You can find really good food. They are Wawa's and Sheetz. There are also some stations that have actual fast food stores attached like Subway, Taco Bell and KFC.

Donuts ... a few seconds in the microwave to warm them up makes stale donuts taste pretty dang good! If they are filled, it's a little dicier! 🤣🤣🤣

Wow! I cracked up at the AM PM. The kids and Shelly were so dramatic. The food at AM PM is fine, I have never gotten food poisoning there. I have never been to a QT or any of those but the food is fine. I'm glad you got through your day. LOL

Firstly , could you please seriously consider doing some more videos relating to foster care for people like me who are hoping to start the process very soon? It would be so helpful to see videos that cover topics such as : • What process of becoming a foster carer/ adoptive parent is like and what it involves • Tips for getting ready to take in new children and how to help them feel settled • What you think people should know/ consider before applying to be a foster or adoptive family • What rules are there when having a foster child that people might not realise • Advice on how to deal with various behaviours and situations that may arise with new placements I’m sure there would be so much more that you could discuss on the topic , and it would be so educational to hear it coming from experts such as yourselves ! 😃 I also think a lot of viewers would love to see updated get to know us/ Q and A’s for each child . You could do a series with a single video for each child going from oldest to youngest or the other way around and even do a video for both of you also! A teens in charge for the day video would be cool too! The teens could be in charge of everything you both would usually do over the course of a day (Morning and afternoon/ night routine,filming , meals ) A “ We swapped houses for 24 hours” video with the crazy pieces would be amazing too! Either that or “We swapped children for 24 hours” with them You could also do a “A week of large family dinners” video , where each night for a week , you film making dinner and what you have each night. A “Day in the life of our big family” would be amazing too ! Lastly , more challenge videos would be so fun! One that I think would be really funny , is a “Turning my sibling into me “ or “Sibling makeover” video. The kids could each draw a name from a hat , and then they have to give them a makeover to turn their partner into them, or just a general makeover. Viewers could vote for who did the best, and there could be some sort of prize for the winning pair. I hope you like these ideas , and really hope to see some , if not all of these videos from you in the near future 😃 Love you all!

Hi Good Morning, When my girls were young, we would do an upside-down day. They loved it so much. For breakfast we would have pizza, then a regular lunch and breakfast for dinner. They loved pancakes and scrambled eggs. Pajamas were optional. Thank you for being you! Your family is a wonderful gift.

The Am/pm hot choices are not that bad. The sandwiches are usually fresh. I remember when I had no income I ate a lot of those items. I would not let them have gotten away with donuts for dinner. The hot sandwiches would have been better.

Another meal challenge idea: Draw a name for each meal. Then the only foods you can for that meal must begin with the same letter of that child’s name.

There is a Fleet Farm gas station that is amazing in Mason City Iowa. I was so surprised all I got was gas LOL Kwik Stars are the best...they have apples, bananas, oranges, grapes, yogurt, lots of already made cold/hot sandwiches, pizza, fun drinks etc...

I had to giggle with how many times Shelley said we are getting something healthy (dinner) but apart from the fruit everything you got was junk food, including the drink choices. I have ro say the dinner meal must of been the hardest and you guys did really well finding something to eat.😊

Well, at least you can stock it up as an experience. I’m sure one your family will never forget, and they have learned to appreciate the value of a home cooked meal. I can say that, as someone who drove lots for my last job, I’ve eaten many a meal from a gas station. It’s really nice when you have one that has a cafe where they make food, or there’s a connected restaurant. However, lots of times that wasn’t an option, so I became adept at finding the protein bars, cheese sticks, pretzels and bottled water. Thanks for the smiles though. 😆I could totally see one of my boys trying to pass off the yummy pizza or tacos as food, when they were younger. Hugs from Michigan Crazy Middles! ❤️

My daughter works at a gas station and makes the food. The one thing she hates is coming in and finding expired products that the shift before didn't throw out. It was nice of Shelley to remind them to look for healthy options. It is expensive 😜

I find it so interesting how kids even really young are now obsessed with hot chips! How do they all have the taste buds to handle such hot things!? Definitely the generation of hot chips !

Your gas stations are much more interesting than the ones in my country, in some of the gas stations here they don't have even have shops, and if they do, they just sell car oil stuff, only 1 has a drive thru fast food and mayb 2-3 are equipped with VERY basic convenience store, nothing like the food and drinks that you have! I'm envious!
