When I was young (a long time ago - I'm 68 now), there was a thing called Ambrosia Salad: Whipped cream combined with a bit of sour cream, grapes, pineapple tidbits, canned mandarin oranges, sweetened coconut, maraschino cherries, and rainbow mini-marshmallows - no gelatin that I can recall. Although it was called Ambrosia Salad, I never saw anyone serve it except as a dessert. It would likely work very well for the sweet treat if you do a rainbow lunches episode again. For me, the green lunch today was by far the most interesting and nutritionally balanced.

When I saw you where making what we in our family call marshmallow salad I was oh that different from the one I know I was born in the mid ‘90s but growing up anytime we had family holiday suppers at my grandparents there was always a marshmallow salad my grammas recipe had coloured mini marshmallows canned mandarin oranges and sour cream in it when I was old enough I would help make it I’m almost 28 and to this day still haven’t tried I’d probably try it it was whip cream instead of sour cream

I absolutely love jello salad! I have had the one that you made and one made with green jello and pistachio pudding, I think that one may be called water gate salad. There are many different names that people call it. And you got orange pineapple juice 😮😮😮. I love orange pineapple flavor. Have you ever had orange pineapple ice cream! It's so good! Definitely try it if you Have not. 😊
