Eating Whatever I Catch while Fishing with Live Mud Minnow on a popping cork in shallow Saltwater Creeks for whatever bites! ! We head out to go saltwater kayak fishing in North Florida for the third time in a YEAR. I did not expect to hook into a variety of fish. What kind of fish would be around the saltwater creeks and low country backwaters during this time of year?? We attempt to catch clean and cook whatever we hook into.. I did not expect for this to happen..

you have got to make some good catfish man. soak the raw fish in some beer for at least 20 mins and it gets rid of any mud mud/fishy flavor. batter it in some cornmeal based batter and fry away! I promise you it’ll be the best fish you’ve ever had

i understand the whole waiting to let them eat it thing, but once that bobber goes under set the hook bc your letting them steal your bait, and you need to reel up a lot more slack bc thats also stopping you from landing some of those fish. great video though i really enjoyed it.

Definitely get a Bit better of a hook up ratio On a float...... its Perfectly legal..... And you get to slam that hook home like a pro bass fisherman ...lol... Hey First state, possible suggestion for the hook-ups: it seems like the hooksets where your sweep the rod more then reel rather than immediately reeling have a better hookup ratio. It may be best to remember to sweep the rod a bit before reeling - best of luck and nice video today!

Pro tip. Instead of buying your live bait at the tackle shop, it's better to use the bait that lives in the area where you're fishing. Get yourself a cast net and a few sabiki rigs to jig with. Between Number 4 to Number 7 sabiki for bait fish. If live bait is unavailable, I've seen a lot of guys down in Florida using hotdogs as cut bait.

Hey man I enjoy watching you fish these back creeks the only thing I notice while you fish is you tend to just reel when your hooked up or it takes the bait, if you do that it will sometime just pull the hook out their mouth set the hook on them bad boys never can go bad with a strong hook set, rippem lips!!!

The camera angles are fine. The only reason to change the front camera would be that if it got in your way when casting or retrieving a fish. The yak videos are great. It puts you in better locations with better opportunities to catch fish. Beach fishing is fun when the fish are running, like pompano. Enjoyed the video. Keep it up. 🤠👍🇨🇱

I am a fan of the hero cam angle. I pwrsonally think you should rig up all three. Rear, front and headmount angles.

Is it really required to use a circle hook in FL for this type of fishing? I have no idea on the FWC's regulations but I would hazard a guess transitioning to an octopus beak hook will improve your hook-up rate.

Use a flat jig head and SLOWLY drag it across the bottom in some eddies you’ll feel a thunk just let it sit for a moment and if you feel weight dragging behind set the hook

You should not use the a Chengage thunder. Pop and cork It is a big trap. A good one is the 4 horsemen. The issue with the Popping cork You are using. The paint rubbed off really easily. It has no resistance from the wind or The current Because that has no weight. You can't cast it.

this just makes me more and more inclined to fish live bait i use artificial and half the time catch no fish while you're catchin fish every minute hahaha
