Its juice at the point before roasted sorghum is added its drained and sieved before its covered with special grass and banana leaves so the heat within starts the fermentation in the first 2 days its like a sweet wine those that do not like the harsh taste will take some to keep. This sweet browned juice can also be cooked down into a thick honey like substance which keeps for years you just get a spoonful and add to water to make a juice. The rest of the juice stays covered in the boat(as its called where it was made) after about 4 - 5 days the heat has made it into a beer called "in Uganda Mwenge Bigere😊" ( alcohol made using feet) and yes you can get drunk from it!
