In our latest RV Mexico City travel vlog, we venture further into CDMX, going on a walking food tour with Secret Food Tours through the Roma Neighborhood trying some seriously delicious food, find our first sustainable and organic grocery store, and explore Mexico City's historic city center.
We had no idea how beautiful Mexico City would be, and how much history we'd be able to explore at the Templo Mayor an ancient Aztec pyramid that was discovered recently near the Zocalo. If you're looking for ideas for Mexico City travel, here's some travel inspiration!
Friendly reminder this was filmed before the pandemic. There were less than 200 cases in the US at this time and zero in Mexico.

The most interest thing about the Torre Latinoamericana it's the fact that is one of the first anti earthquake skyscraper in the world. This building has survive three majors earthquakes and hundreds of minors ones, with no even a scratch. So basically is a master piece of civil enginering.

Yes Mexico City has the best Mexican food of all Mexico. I visited in January of this year and by far my favorite Taco was their Taco Al Pastor. Mole, Cochinita Pibil are also very good dishes to try out. Also they are famous for their Torta de Chilaquil, this is a must try. They are actually competing with the famous Torta Ahogada in Guadalajara, Mexico, both very good, but very different. Cheers! and enjoy Mexico City and all of Mexico it is magical and unforgettable.

no way.. ask any Mexican and they tell actually MExico city is bad.. specially street food, they put cheap cream to everything, cheap cheese that tastes like rubber.. best food is BY FAR in Yucatan península, Oaxaca , Chiapas, Guerrero and for meat northern states like Sonora and Chihuahua.. Mexico city only copies dishes from other states but not quite well

I've only been twice and barely scratched the surface. I loved the Saturday art crawl in San Angel, going to Ballet Folklorico at Bellas Artes, and Templo Mayor. I loved La Condesa and will definitely stay there when I go back this year. I liked Coyoacan and want to spend a day there. I haven't even been to Chapultepec or Teotihuacan yet, still so much to do. The anthropology museum is a must see!

Next time you come back to Mexico City, I suggest go to Santa Fe wich is the modern area of the City. There´s a very nice park called "La Mexicana" and you will find lots of nice restaurants. Polanco, Polanquito, Coyoacán y San Ángel will be a nice option too. Desierto de los Leones would be a nice option too because you love nature. Regards.

Funny about the "aroma" of the laundry. I did splurge once and had my laundry done. Loved it but the smell was overwhelming. I ended up airing everything out on a balcony. Even the sheets and towels in my hotel were very "odiforous". Not fresh smelling. More like way too strong perfume. Hahaha. Such is Mexico.

@@EatSeeRV I thought it was just me and I was overreacting to the laundry smell. We've done so many silly things in Mexico. Once we were really hungry and they were doing their looong Mexican moment thing getting to us. So we ate these "thingy" things on the table while we waited. Later we realized we ate the table decorations. They were too polite to tell us.
