That aquascape looks incredible. Can't wait to see it covered in corals. Something special starting here. 👍

Your scape is 🔥!!! Just ordered a WB peninsula 4820. A scape something like yours would look amazing in it!!! So much flow!!!

Watched until the end! I'm just using a 40g breeder but I would love to own a waterbox 65.4g, great aquascape!

Maybe one day Waterbox will give you one, like they gave Antonio. Thw whole build is “sponsored,” so enjoy the commercial.

i put the rock first and the sand because the internet says if you have sand sifters blah blah you'd get into trouble but I guess what you did achieved the same purpose.. Really hundred and one opinions out there which influences a ton of our decision making.

I think it looks good and seems that you will have good room for acros. I have a smaller tank right now 70 display probably 20 in the sump. The issue I came across is really I don't have the space in my aquascape to have lots of acros. I have more peaks of sorts and its all real rock which in itself is cool made my cycle a breeze. I think your tank is looking sick though!

Looks good, I liked the "just in case it falls" piece under the arch and would put it back in there to break up that wide open space.
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
That wide open space is going to have a massive elegance that was in the jbj. Once it’s in the tank that wide open space will look like nothing hahaha
@rickjames93393 жыл бұрын
Lookin amazing dude! Your videos are excellent! You can get some affordable sheets of abs to line the bottom of the tank to protect it rather than putting sand first. I always do for peace of mind

Man, great looking scape! 👍 That’ll sure look sweet once corals are growing. Awesome. I don’t remember if you’ve shown which ATO you’re going with yet..but I noticed you have Avast Marine’s auto feeder. Have you considered using Avast’s ATO? (Pressure switch style). I switched from a gravity fed float valve to Avast’s ATO and it’s fantastic. I’m surprised it’s not more commonly used.. as its super reliable and doesn’t have any mechanical components to fail or become stuck. Anyways, thought I’d mention. Cheers

So fed up with seeing cruel NHSA designs as I like to call them 'No Hidding Space Aquascape's' so was so glad to read in the comments that you are adding more rock to create hidding area's.....great stuff

Great update. Love the scape. Are you going to have any LPS or islands on the sand? Acros are going to look amazing on the arch. While I really like the arch my eye thinks there will be too much open space under the arch. An moderate island or torch garden would break it up a little. Great job man and I’m excited to continue watching!
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
A huge elegance will be going under the arch. It’s ready just need to go pick it up b

Looking good - don’t let that sand dry out too much, it has some bacteria in it.
@christiancorals8163 жыл бұрын
Wow mate looks awesome I use this sand and super happy with I only had diatoms for about 4 days and it went and I turn up my flow and it doesn't move but won't to live sand die if it not have water in it and can't wait for the next video

Got to say out of all the scape of you tube builds yours wins by far great job when I do mine I hope it looks like yours, I think it’s even better then the brs 360 I would like to see what you would have done with that size of space
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
appreciate the kind words🤙🏼 I can’t wait to see how it looks filled up.
@ArrickthaRed3 жыл бұрын
I think the scape is great for sps corals. What fish do you plan on keeping? Although the scape is great for sps, it doesn't offer much for fish to hide.
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
I typically don’t like offering too much hiding spots. But in next video you will see the two massive places the fish have to hide. I added more rock you don’t see in this video.
@pedro1619773 жыл бұрын
Looks amazing. Just a note: dont you fear that you will have agression issues with fish due to the open aquascape and lack of caves? The guy from brs warned about this in his 360 build.
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
That is a fear but I guess we will have to wait and see. There has been additions to the scape that wou will see in next video. I added two caves.
@njjeff2013 жыл бұрын
Why is it important for the rock to touch tank bottom? The weight is more equally distributed if the rock is on the sand bed
@camerongiddings64873 жыл бұрын
Very nice tank and scape ..........but why didn't you paint the back oy your tank black?
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
It comes black from the factory. In the next two videos you will see why I didn’t leave it black. 😊

Looks good on the left but awefull on the right. SPS dominant tank why why so high close to the surface. Not going work once the acro begin to take off your ocd will kick in.
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
Left 10” on the right which would easily allow for softball size colonies. But that’s where my plan B that I talk about in the video comes into effect. 😉 the right side is able to completely be replaced in the future if need be
@brackon10873 жыл бұрын
You bought live sand but then didn't put water in, won't it dry out and all that bacteria die?
@eatsleepreef95653 жыл бұрын
The live sand comes with water and is able to be 2 weeks in the open air assuming I stays slightly damp
@Grantdaryn3 жыл бұрын
More of a negative impact biologically to take sand out than it is to add it. Brs did a episode about adding and taking out live sand
