We take a look at Murraya paniculata, the Orange Jasmine, Orange Jessamine and dozens of other names. It's an ornamental citrus with edible fruit and useable leaves and blossoms.

I didn't realise it was a pest here~ people buy it, hedge it, the scent is gorgeous if one doesn't grow too many trees in the one place. I'm now growing it for more than the flowers thanks to your vid ~🙂 Merry Christmas!

We have a tree and when the flowers bloom there's always bees on them. It smells so good. Love this tree.

I still remember years ago, the state officials yanked out all orange jasmine both in public parks and private gardens!😢 I’m so happy to see them in the nursery again! Now, I’m going to take good care of them! ❤ Thanks!

I've never seen it grown as a tree only a shrub. The flowers fragrance is very intense

It is a murraya. It is related to curry leaf

Huge fan of this one, but didn't know you have to spit the seeds. Are they dangerous? I always found them not entirely unpalatable (probably because the fruit is such a strong flavor).
@greendeane12 жыл бұрын
Oh, I don't think there is anything wrong with them we just usually don't eat citrus seeds intentionally.

I heard some people are protecting trees from greening using finger limes.

Does is have invasive tendencies, like autumn olive?
@greendeane12 жыл бұрын
Don't think so. Even the state says it's not an environmental community problem. The main issue is a host for the bug that spreads greening.
