In this video, we have a look at something massively different. An Electric Cargo bicycle from Oxford capable of transporting 150kg of goods. Sounds perfect for urban deliveries!

In mobility and transport, employees security as well as individuals security are important specially when pedalling at main roads.. its good and exceptional that this brand has the features of ease and convenience.

I’m guessing 420kgs includes full load and rider . I think a tandem version of this would be great for pootling round town and getting the groceries.

420kg is MGW. Rider, cargo and vehicle. So the vehicle is 170kg, max load 150kg plus allowance for up to 100kg rider this means cargo/vehicle weight is 88% and it can do approx 80 miles on 2.8kWh battery so 28miles/kW compared to an E van at 4m/kW. Massively more efficient and effective in urban areas. - we love them!!

Practical and fun. I could see something like this on the city streets of South East Asia delivering all sorts of things. Personally though I'd like to see a 1930's style car body on that chassis though so I could pretend to be part of the cast of Bugsy Malone. Im pressuring you've seen the 1980's film Bugsy Malone Jake but if not maybe check it out

Would love one of these for the TBC fleet. Maybe if I ever win the lotto and start up my Mini spares company as my “something to do during the day” thing I can get one as a local delivery truck lol

I think these are great, but unfortunately, they're never going to take off with the wider population as long as the law limits them to 250W and 15mph. Not to mention the narrow wheels, lack of doors and lack of a heater would turn most car/van drivers off from buying one of these. The concept is solid, but there's things holding them back from gaining mass appeal.

@@Ghoxtfirethat's because they work only in cities like NYC. Unless we're talking abou huge, heavily congested cities, this things, as cool as they are, the make 0 sense.
