If it wasn’t for us grinding this game in our childhood, this speedrun wouldn’t have been possible! Definitely one of my favorite games to play with Eazy, and my sister!

I feel so nostalgic looking at this game. My brother and me playing everyday after school on our Wii. Dying multiple times, shouting in inaudible children screams, my brother crying because he never got Mario. Memories

I always loved watching the movies in peach's castle showing off the speedruns of specific levels. It was so cool to see how close they got without getting hit and to try to imitate them

My last run of this was 5 years ago, stopped at 25:13 which was 2nd place for a bit. Crazy times. Nice to see the top runners still pushing the game to its limits.

There was so much sibling betrayal between me and my brother, ESPECIALLY on the lava coaster level which was our favorite. World 9 was so hard to beat but so satisfying

I didn’t realize that he did the commentary after doing the speed run until this video. I legit thought this guy could keep his composure and keep his thoughts coherent even when speedrunning

The amount of nostalgia this game gives me is almost too much, I can probably vouch for almost everyone that this was was one of the best things in their childhood.

The amount of memories that came watching this speedrun is crazy. It took my sister and I hours to beat the final level. She was out of lives and I barley made the jump to hit the switch and win.

I remember being excited to go to my cousin's house to play this game with them, but they would end up quitting halfway through because I was a little sh#t and always threw them off the edge or into enemies.

FINALLY! This was my favorite Wii game as a kid. I finally beat it after 8 years, and now it's nice to see this game still holding up.

Ah, good ol Wii Mario Bros. Mariokart Wii was a bigger part of my childhood, but I'm fond of this game.

I like how the fake-out bowser fight is reminiscent of the fight from the first ever super mario game

I played this so much when I was younger, but could never beat the final bowser castle, also fun fact: if you get 99 one ups, Mario and Luigi will take off their hats till you lose one of them

This is still being speedrunned to this day and it's so satisfying to watch even in 2022!

this just opened the floodgates of random super Mario memories from my childhood that I had completely forgotten. When he loaded into the first underground level I immediately was hit with the memory of when I spent countless hours grinding this game. Eazy always manages to find the most nostalgic games to speedrun.

Oh! I finally got past the final castle on world 8 with my dad and sister not too long ago! Although we still haven't taken a crack at world 9 😅

Ah, NSBW. I remember playing through this game with all three of my siblings (Nintendo ain't stupid. They know couch co-op is how you market to families). At the time, we cumulatively had well over a decade of Mario under our belts, and breezed through the levels- you can imagine the chaos of four siblings jumping on each other's heads and throwing one another is a great way to discover every secret the level has to offer- taking the cannon to 5, and then again to 8 before going back to World 1 to play the game "as intended". I remember the Bowser fight vividly; only one of my siblings was joining me due to the cramped tunnels, so when that second phase happened, I was surprised how tense it got! As the oldest, and the one with the most experience, I was more invested in my deathless run than I realized, and the fact that my sibling and I were basically exchanging "bubble status" throughout the lava run really got all four of us amped up. It made that final switch press all the more awesome. So long, King Bowser!

I recently started speedruning this game, its my entire childhood and honestly probably one of my favorite games to this day. Im usually not a huge fan of speedruning, like for other games i dont find it that fun, i rather just play it normally. But NSMBW is different, its just so much fun to speedrun and recently ive been obsessed with speedruns on this game. Loved you're speedrun as well, keep it up!

This brings back memories. Me and my brother had a daily screen allowance of 1 hour. One day when his friend came by we speedran through this game. I think we knew that the world 5 boat autoscroller could be skipped, but we didn't try it. I am pretty sure that we did beat the game in just under an hour. That was pretty amazing.

For me, watching this was so nostalgic. IT IS LITERALLY _THE_ GAME OF MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD
