Great video mate. I just bought a Traxxas slash 4WD running a 6s lipo I highly recommend you get a brushless rc on the channel can’t beat a nitro but these brushless are just out of hands when it comes to performance.

HPI was the best design of all the units you can just unclip the battery box and it all came right out easy has you say everything is well thought

I go for a high tickover as it is less likely to stall when coning off the throttle while blasting about.

Haggard have you tried the new way to prime the engine? Pinch the tubing that leads from the pipe to the fuel tank and pop the lid two-4 times it really works.

Just picked up a couple RS4 MTs and built one "killer" one out of them... Just looking for something (hopefully cheap!) to replace the HPI .15 FE I have now... The thing has ONE needle (HSN only) on the carb. Literally no mixture adjustment for idle!! I can live without the "transition" adjustment), but no idle mixture, makes it terrible to run... I dunno what they were thinking on that one! If I want to get on it, and let it "sing" into 2nd gear, I have to have it set so it's ULTRA rich @ idle and part throttle and the closed throttle gap has to be huge to compensate. Anyone have any experience with those Vertex 18s? Seems there are a ton of them out there, and the price is awesome! Hate to waste the money though, if they don't work well.

Also, isn't that a primer pump on top of the tank?

What's your thoughts on a throttle return spring I have a built in failsafe but I had a runaway an it didnt save it so would a throttle return be a better option?
