Sent mine back and now use a phone and a square shaped spy cam for wireless and recording set up. They also sell a recording one of these on Amazon but wired still.

My understanding is that the white cord is for charging the unit only, and not intended to be used while riding.

I had the previous version. Is it a fisheye view? I also had a problem seeing with glare and since it was a fisheye view the cars were on me before I could see them good on the screen. How's this version?

Have you figured out how to adjust; brightness, etc? A video on that would be helpful.

SOMEBODY, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT THE BUTTONS IN THE MIDDLE DO????? There is no explanation anywhere for this. I have one installed on my bike and like it. I rode with the screen protector still on (I did not know it was on) and when the sun hit the screen directly, forget it, completely lightened the screen and you could not see. I just took it off and will try again tomorrow. If it is not better, there is a video of a dude who had a glare reduction screen added and he explains where to buy it. It works nice, but in the direct sun ... No.(Again! I did not have the protector off)

How long do I charge it? And how do I know that it has already fully charged?

I got the one that says Feiske brand on the box from Amazon and was not a plain white box like the one he is displaying, but the instruction booklet is the same an d viewer is the same but not the camera lens. Mine lens is smaller and is inserted inside the attachment unit itself which if you want it out you’ll have to break the outer shell like casing. I like his lens better because it’s free standing if you want. The new lens image is not as sharp and already my plug in jack broke after 3 times plugging it in trying to finish installation. It just broke off the metal part so got nothing now to plug into the camera viewer. The negative review on this is pretty spot on - don’t waste ur money. I feel pretty sad now 😭💸💸💸. Btw not for Lectric bikes !!

I always have trouble looking over my left hand shoulder should this be adjusted to help me with that or does it pretty well let you see what's over your left hand shoulder and everywhere else when you want to change lanes?

How long in the camera cable not the charger

I just received mine today from Amazon, it is pretty remarkable what you get, for such a low price. The main reason I love this one, was the no-frills.....I simply just wanted a camera, and a monitor to see behind me, and that's it. I did have one question to ask you… Did you change anything as far as the display adjustments like contrast, tent, saturation etc? They all are on five right now, which I imagine is in the middle, but you can adjust it up and down if you want to. I didn't goof around changing any of those, but I'm just wondering if you left yours at the factory settings? I have to admit, it looks awfully good the way it is, but I have not been out on a ride yet. Thank you very much for the video - watching made me decide to go ahead and get this rear view monitor - I have been on the fence about it for a little while
