Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and stakeholders of the State are increasingly delighted with the quality and speed of work at Chuba Okadigbo International Airport Onueke, Ebonyi State.
The Governor was on inspection of the 3.1km runway, ahead of his one-year anniversary in office. The final layer of the asphalt is happening at the moment and according to the contractor, it will be done in a matter of days.

@@madamsabimediatv how can a whole state government don't know that concrete isn't good for runway. A layman may make that mistake but not a state govt trying to build an international airport. It is not rocket science! And not the first airport ever built. Does it mean they didn't have professional specialist consultants or even professional contractors before hand. It's very embarrassing. How can we trust them moving forward that they won't make more silly incompetent mistakes going forward.

Do our governor see works going in other states in igbo land, every week he is on common airport runaway and people are praising him. This FON want to turn Ebonyi to what Abia state used to be. Ebonyi and Imo is currently left behind and our people should wake up. Let this man not take us to old days before Dave rescued us. Every day is going to airport for runaway
