Ace are you aware that barrels change hipfire width? Long barrel increase width and short barrels decrease it. I did the tests. For assault rifles the longest barrel makes hipfire usually 25% worse, the medium barrels are around 15%, as for the short barrels they either have no effect or very minimal 1-5%. The biggest hipfire decrease would be the 9mm rounds for the m4, they have a 31% decrease in width. For smgs the longest barrel increases hipfire width by around 16%, the rest either have no impact or 1-5% difference.

this gun is really insane, it's my most used gun and my highest KD, I run the variable zoom scope, makes it really easy to get the not-op-at-all 1 shot headshot

Love this rifle - The ranges are important because several challenges and missions involve LONG SHOT, and this has a shorter 'Long shot' range than say Sniper rifles, so its easier to get them done. My two setups - One Variable zoom scopes for counter sniper; the other has reflex. I will add in the larger mag and the Merc Grip instead of commando grip and give it a go. Thanks again Ace :D

I love this gun! It has been one of my favourites since MW2. I love how it holds its own in close quarters, the one shot headshots are ridiculous at range. This guide was so helpful, i already have it gold but I'm definitely switching to tac laser in ground war! Pity that sprint out stock! We love Acehole!

Ace, try the muzzle break on the EBR 14 it changes the first shot recoil and all the shots now are in one clump. Muzzle break, Ranger grip, 4.0x flip hybrid, 22" barrel, Raider Chassis elite is OP

Stack range and use a scout optic, and this gun is a blast on Ground War to counter-snipe. The range rivals or beats snipers, and once you learn where to aim, you can pretty consistently hit headshots by aiming at sniper glint. Since you're mostly targeting snipers, ADS time doesn't matter so much, and even if you miss the headshot, snipers have a hard time lining up a shot when they're getting peppered by a semi-auto.

Ace I gotta say you missed something big on this weapon. Bullet Velocity is really key at ranges past 30 meters. The bullet hits faster, you don’t have to lead. It could just be a preference thing though.

I've been using this gun and a setup similar to the first class build since the game came out and I love it. Good stuff for the other Mk14/Ebr lovers but then most of us already know this.

This video confirms I was using this gun correctly when I set it up for cqc in HC to do the crossbow challenge. I used the Raider elite chassis, mini reflex, 15 round mags, compensator in case I missed first shot, and fmj to get one shot kills through walls consistently. It was great fun. It's slightly different from your set up as I don't like the velocity drop from the short barrel. Also have a Sniper-ish set up, where I do use a longer barrel for bullet velocity.

Was using the Kar98 to unlock the crossbow but man, this seems MUCH more my style! Thanks for covering this!

Love this gun. Most underrated gun in the game imo. Love combining the Elite Barrel and FSS Raider Chasis Elite stock. ADS time becomes so quick with it. Usually run it with a reflex or holo sight. Run it with the Lightweight Suppressor and opt for the Merc Foregrip. It becomes such a competitive weapon. The ADS speed combine with the one shot headshot potential makes it lethal as an aggressive weapon while also being an amazing counter-sniper weapon.

I primarily play hardcore, which is one of the reasons i love this gun. Once i got the oden gold i switched over to this (and to get the crASSbow) and ive loved it since.

I just picked this gun up after finishing gold camo on the FAL. Im loving it. Will use these weapon setups as guides though since my setup is really not great

Now all of a sudden everyone LOVES semi auto rifles. I can remember rocking the MK14 (and doing quite badly with it,)in MW3, no one was using it, everyone was all about the ACR and MP7. Awe the M14😍 also known as m14 EBR (Enhanced battle Rifle) Springfield Armory's legend & Lil brother of the M1 Garand from WW2. It took 15 years of R&D before it was used in war with "select fire" switch between semi-auto & fully auto. Keeping the idea of a rotating bolt was more than battle prooven, throwing a 168 grain 7.62×51 nato .308 round at 2600+fps at 500yds it quickly became a monster replacing the M1's 30.06 round. Whitch was much heavyer hitting with more recoil. Sprindfields M14 is still in service today but is getting replaced with newer tech and harder hitting rounds at futher ranges like the 6.5 Creed

This thing is a monster in Hardcore modes, I like using the canted hybrid, with one of the reticles it looks just like a sniper scope. For core modes that second follow up shot is crucial so more recoil control mods are needed. Very underrated.

As a guy who max ranked this gun, this video helped me a ton because I would use the sleight of hand perk when I didn’t really need that perk, so that let me have a different attachment that’ll help me more!

I've been seeinf this gun a lot ever since the crossbow challenge came out. Wish they had something like the G28 or the HK417 to add more marksman rifle variety.

I've always loved this rifle in any Cod I've played, in mw3 it was the gun that helped me get my first nuke in that game

I recommend the canted hybrid for this gun. Putting a red dot sight on this cripples your long range ability which is where this gun shines. With the hybrid you have the best of both worlds. I assume you lose some ads speed, but that can be offset with other attachments.

I like to use the elite chassis, ranger grip, 20 round mag, any acog sight, and then the focus perk to reduce the flinching. My favorite weapon and one of my best I have nearly 2k kills with it and most of them have come using this set up. Fast and good enough up close and still really good at long range

I just dug this rifle doing the crossbow assignment. And in hardcore it’s just beautiful. In standard version is also pretty good

I got the hold for this weapon yesterday It’s a in my opinion the best marksman rifle I like to run the short barrel and last stock , sleight of hand, and the 20round mag ,along with the canted hybrid so I can fight at different ranges and I manage pretty well in most matches.

Man I don't know why but when I was working on maxing out this weapon, I tried to treat it like a sniper (I play ground war) and I had such a hard time. I needed this guide earlier. Oh well, when I come back to this guy (cause I really like it) I'll definitely use these loadouts. I'd be interesting to see how those ranges come into play in big maps for those ground war players

If you are using this gun and you're worried about ammo you can always pick up a LMG with the 7.62 NATO round (like the M91) either using Overkill or picking it up from the ground and have an obscene amount of ammo (way over using fully loaded perk!)

My fav setup is the heaviest barrel for the bullet velocity and Monolithic Suppressor - easiest one-shot clicks for sniping. You just point and click to everyone's head. It is a monster!

I really love this gun because of how versatile it is. You can set it up with a full sniper scope or a canted hybrid or a thermal hybrid and play really long with it, like a sniper rifle (I think it handles better than the Dragunov and is similarly lethal) or you can set it up more aggressively. I’m a big fan and using this gun is one of the few things I miss about this game since uninstalling it.

Yes this is my favorite Marksman rifle of all time in the COD Series. A play more marksman style then anything. I have collected all the EBR's..Blue Prints...That Modern Warfare has released the 1st 3 seasons. Now that you can enter match all the Blue prints for the same gun this is gonna be so much fun!!! it'll take me a while, but I will build the ultimate EBR for Call of Duty..

I've been using a couple blueprint EBRs, mostly the Rip Current. Nothing like a face to face an assault rifle at close range with no suppressor. BANGBANG!

I run around with the elite chasis, tac laser, elite barrel, 2o rd. mags and the G.I. sight. Very good, aggresive setup for the gun.

I always been a fan of the M1 Grand on WW2 games. While all my friend liked the sum machine guns and what not. So natrually on this game I gave it a try. And while it took me longer to fall in love with it. I finally have and just about got it gold on accident

REQUEST: 357 There are solid builds for this for both intermediate/long range and short range. My favorite is Snake Shot and turn it into a mini 1 shot shotgun with 6 shots before reload. Snake Shot, Lightweight Trigger, 1mW laser on there and you are 1 shot hip firing. Stippled Gripe is also nice if you feel like you need to aim, which you don't really need to. Sleight of Hand is nice as is Fully Loaded. You can keep the regular barrel or change it up. Not only is it super powerful in close quarters, its super fun to play getting head shots from the hip. Keep EOD and run this instead of Overkill for a shotgun secondary. It doesn't have the range of the 725, but you can get that 2nd and 3rd shot off pretty fast.

I'm 35/125 from obsidian. Headshots are key with this gun. Theirs lots of time where i cant land the third final shot in kings trio, so you really gotta aim. I love the M14

Has been my favourite Rifle since modern warfare 2 I use to run it with a silencer and thermal sight. Hiding in my smoke grenades for hidden kills out in the open. But I'm unsure if it gets thermal in this one but it's still one of my favourites

Equip Tune Up in perk 3 and have stopping power on. Using the EBR with stopping power means a one shot kill to the chest and above. Tune Up will also help the stopping power charge up faster so you can use it more. If you’re decent, you can basically use stopping power continuously and keep getting those one shot kills.

Do the crossbow next! I'm loving using this thing, but I would love to know more about the actual effects the attachments have.

I would like to see what combos you come up with for the double barrel. I've had a lot of fun with it.

I'd really like to see the bullet velocity reduction/improvement in your gun guide videos on marksman rifles/snipers. Maybe travel time to target at 100 meters. A percentage reduction would be nice to know for some of these guns.

Contrary opinion: I would highly recommend the longest barrel for this gun and maxing aiming stability to pop sniper heads in ground war. There is virtually no bullet drop (maybe a head length at 200m+). I can consistently out snipe snipers because of my rate of fire, lack of scope glint, and dead on aiming stability. Yes it’s obviously a more campy setup (it’s a marksman rifle after all), but you can spam it in close quarters with some success so you don’t have to camp too hard to be effective. I run a 3-3.5x, lightweight sup, commando fore grip, aiming stability stock, and 22in barrel. Best class for long range headshots.

Monolith, Forge TAC Elite, FSS Raider Chassis Elite... believe me, thats what you looking for. The first thing i've done in this game was to build the M21 from back in MW2 and i never used any other gun since that. Its the overall allround weapon for things like zombi apocalypse- or world war scenarios, close Combat, long range and everything in between.

Please update the PKM and discuss the usefulness of the snatch grip and no stock vs FSS Close Quater stock

love these vids but I have a little suggestion, I wish You showed more footage of movement/ADS changes with the different attachments. I get it if its too much to record and I dont mind trying them in game to see for myself. I just really like how you showcase recoil and think the same could be done with ADS and Movement speed if its not too much work. side by side comparisons would be cool
