The EC120 is a nice aircraft, I love them, but I've heard that with just 376 kW/504 shp from the single Turbomeca Arrius 2F that it is a bit underpowered when carrying 3 to 4 passengers, any appreciable amount of fuel for a decent range, and any baggage or anything in the rear. I wonder what Eurocopter/Airbus's logic is with not going with one of the EC135's more powerful Arrius 2B2's with 472 kW/633 shp, or with the EC130's Arriel 2B1 at 632 kW/847 shp and a FADEC system? I wouldn't mind seeing a new twin EC120/H120 with two Arrius 2F's or even two Rolls Royce 250 C20B's at 313 kW/420 shp each, and FADEC's. They could use a cowling design similar to the AS355 N2 or AS355 F2 Écureuil 2's, and the AS350 B3 based twin input gearbox that the AS355 NP uses. That would be a nice 120.

to all thats wonder out there. All this is feasible for every one (almost then), its all about take education, as my old mum did say. then be innovative, have a entrepreneur attitude, and save money( but still have fun ). I'm have order a new EC 135 T3, and a new Piaggio Avanti P 180II, to my collection of the X8 private jet i have. its all feasible, but to all out there wondering how to ?? simple education, entrepreneur thinking, find the niche envelope were you feel good in and extend it as you go, then you will make money and a lot of it.
