You will be transported to a dark and dystopian post-apocalyptic setting, where the evocative sounds of synthesizers paint a desolate landscape of ruins and solitude.
Welcome to "Marcus Palt - The Dark Side". I am Marcus Palt... I don't write songs... But I create atmospheres!!!
I compose ambient music in its various manifestations.
In my compositions I use rain sounds, hypontic drones, deep soundscapes, and various synthesized sound effects. You can use my music as ambient music for sleep, ambient music for meditation, ambient music for reading, ambient music for studying and ambient music for work.

I don't like using AI for my covers, but I have to admit that it is very useful. I like to write, and this helps me find the right prompt to create always original photographs. I'm really happy you liked it!!

@@MarcusPalt.TheDarkSide ti capisco proprio tanto e quindi ti dico che hai fatto benissimo. Io stesso non seguo più tutto come prima, ero arrivato a non riuscire a stare più dietro le notifiche... Più si va avanti e più il tempo stringe e quindi meglio fare scelte più "vive". Come parlammo in passato, il bello di essere musicisti indipendenti è proprio questo, poter gestire il proprio tempo a piacimento senza stare dietro a scadenze. Un abbraccione e buona domenica 🎶🌞🎶

I really love the static under-track, which provides eerie contrast to the main music score. Reminds me a bit of when I used to stay up late as a kid with my shortwave radio and I’d get far off stations, a mix of clarity and static distance. Nice work.

Thanks Colin, I tried to describe this distant and devastated world as best I could, using many textures and different synthesizers. I really had fun recreating the radio signal that you can hear in the track ;)

@@MarcusPalt.TheDarkSide you did a great job Marco! I am always amazed at your natural ability to create emotion with sound. I always struggle to get the right amount of movement in a track to take you on an emotional journey. I mostly end up with a snapshot of a dream and not the full dream.

@@ccjmusic Thank you so much for these words Colin, I really appreciate it. All my music, with a few exceptions, tends to develop over time. I very often follow the rules of literature, it's as if I were writing a story, but with notes instead of words.

@@MarcusPalt.TheDarkSide I never consciously follow any rules when I create music, and only my own imposed rules when it comes to the videos and album artwork. Album artwork always has the logo for my channel and music videos that are from an album always have the same title overlay at the start. I think that comes from my time at school when I hated being told what to learn and when. Telling me what to do is the fastest way to get me to do something else. lol
