Every character of the Bad Batch is voiced by the same person who voices the clones. Imagine seeing him perform that! And the bangs look great!

I love how episode 7x1 uses the clones leitmotif to convey Rex's mental headspace. In the begining it comes off as incredibly somber and almost depressed. But after Rex realizes Echo's alive the leitmotif returns more truimphantly.

I really enjoyed Bad Batch. It has a ton of heart and beautiful animation. Season 2 is coming out soon also.

Emme, the Bad Batch show can/should be viewed once Season 7 is over. I really think you're going to like it, as well. Oh, no spoilers, but you're going to need tissues for this season.

"Some time between seasons 6 and 7" That's an understatement. Clone Wars was originally supposed to have 8 FULL seasons. Unfortunately, soon after purchasing Star Wars, Disney pulled the plug. Fans campaigned for 6 years to get some of the episodes completed so CW could have a definitive end, and it's amazing that we got these. But there's still 48 episodes well into production that we'll never see because of Disney cancelling the show.

Really demonstrates the voice talents of Dee Bradley Baker, was already doing a great job with voicing all the clones but dialled it up to eleven for the Bad Batch!

Something I really appreciate about episode 7x1 is the sound design. During the scene where they storm the droid tower, they make it a point to remove all the music so you get to hear each clone's distinct weapon choice.

Fun Fact: The Spider General is also Dee Bradley Baker aka The Clones.

I LOVE how you can deduce things so quickly based on previous information, yet you still have that shock factor when you're right. Super fun to watch all of these!

it does really come off as a kids show in the beginning (even with the theme of war lol), but clone wars is truly amazing.

Season 7 is quite possibly the GREATEST thing that Star Wars has EVER done. So yes, Emme I am glad you made it. The final season is well worth the childishness of the first few seasons.

S7 was release seven years after S6's final episode. That's just one reason why animation looks better. Second reason is chronological, cuz in history 1 year passed.

I love the bad batch, any episode with them is a good episode.

The cartoons have grown up with their original audiences. Still watchable for kids, but much deeper and more violent than the first few seasons of clone wars and first couple seasons of Rebels.

Season 7 was only released a couple of years ago so it was a very very long wait.

Will you be doing Rebels? It shows off the ability of Filoni to tell a story from beginning to end. 😀 On the animation differences, early on they couldn’t do soft things well - hair, robes. So in season 1, you can see how wooden the characters look. Like Obi-Wan’s hair and beard looks like it can cut you! And the Jedi wear armor instead of robes. 😀

The first war story told, chronologically, was when Anakin matched wits with the spider general from his cloaked ship. The general’s appearance here in what is ultimately the final war story of the series before order 66 is such poetic symmetry.

Clone Wars the cartoon made me realize the clones themselves were just as much victims of the Emperor as the Jedi they were forced to betray. I cry harder during Order 66 now knowing how much the Clones really loved and respected their Jedi leaders. They were stripped of identity and self. They became nothing more than droids themselves after.

Being that you have already seen Revenge Of The Sith you might want to watch it again before you watch the last three episode of this season. It will come in handy and once this season is over you should watch The Bad Batch series or at the very least the first three Episodes. You won't be disappointed trust me. On a side note the animation is so good in this last season because Disney kill the show and it brought back so the creators wanted to do it right.

Whether you do reactions or just watch on your own, recommend watching Rebels, before jumping into the Bad Batch, for the best viewing experience. As there are tie ins, that really fall flat; it's similar to the difference between watching the movies in release order vs chronologically, certain scenes, namely Darth Vader's revealed identity, and Luke and Leia's identity, as well as them being related. The impact of those scenes and many others change significantly, depending on which order you watch the movies.

I can't wait for you to get to the end of this season because the last arc is the best arc in the whole series! You've gotta watch the last four back-to-back because they all go together. Also, those last few episodes are all rated 9.9 stars on IMDB and are some of the highest rated television episodes of all time!

Poor Echo... A Star Wars version of the Borg.

It was about 5 years between The Lost Missions and the Final Season. Also, the animation designs were to better resemble what is seen in Revenge of the Sith. Note how the Jedi have their gauntlets removed. The Bad Batch Arc was shown in rough animation, along with another arc set on Utapau. I recommend watching those. Clone Force 99 a.k.a. the Bad Batch was named in honor of Maintenance Clone 99, who gave his life fighting the CIS during the Battle of Kamino.

You can be an officer. But a General is a tremendous & prestigious position in the chain of command. One of the highest rankings in the military. Usually, soldiers are promoted depending on years of service & number of kills. If you apply in the officer’s academy in the Army, the highest you can qualify depending on the tests you’ve passed is a 1st Lieutenant (if I’m not mistaken) but for sure it’s below a Captain. Generals don’t usually lead personally in battles due to them being an essential/valuable asset in leading wars. Managing logistics, +100,000 soldiers under your command, cooperation with internal & external national security matters, etc. Regardless of rank, lots of paperwork like proposing military training methods, international agreements/contracts, etc.

Im a big fan of Star Wars Rebels, its the Underrated brother of Clone Wars. Hope you will check it out too.
