Dolphin Island Christmas at SeaWorld San Diego (12/18/14)

I love this new show! This is SeaWorld San Diego's first dolphin holiday show and features dolphins, pilot whales, human performers, and birds of flight. It's a lot like Dolphin Discovery but with a slight island and Christmas theme.
Sandy, Melanie, Purina, Malibu, Corona, Zana, Venus, Captain, Cocoa, and Koa (Bottlenose Dolphins) and Bubbles, 9Lives, and Argo (Short-finned Pilot Whales) at SeaWorld San Diego on 12/18/14.

i went to seaworld in san diego last year but in october,im going too the one in san antonio,and i may see there show

I love pilot whales! They look so cute yet mysterious! Actually I love all cetaceans but whatever. Didn't they have false killer whales in there?

+Δημήτρης κάποιος I agree! I don't think San Diego had false killer whales in a really long time. Eventually all of SeaWorld's false killer whales moved to Orlando where the population lasted until 2012.

Do they often have the dolphins make noises during show time?

Yeah, sometimes they ask for straight vocals and they can add vocals to dolphin behaviors for things like scream bows and scream porps. There's also a waterwork behavior in which the dolphin swims a circle around the trainer vocalizing.

EchoBeluga Thanks! The dolphin looks like it's having so much fun with the scream jumps at 3:20 or so :)
