20 - 3mm Bicones (Cyclamen Opal, Metallic Lt. Gold, or Crystal Silver Night)
2 - 4mm Bicones Cyclamen Opal, Metallic Lt. Gold, or Crystal Silver Night) (optional for bottom of earring instead of 3mm bicone)
11/0 Seed Beads Miyuki Metallic Bronze, Dark nickel silver
2 - 10x5mm Teardrop Crystals ( Amethyst, Olivine or Crystal ) or any drop you like
2 - 2 inch Antique Brass Head pins

Made these beautiful earrings for the first time last night and they turned out really beautiful. Made them on a smaller scale and they still look great! I don't know how I got to this tutorial but it actually made me take up beading as a craft, so this was my first beading project. Myne looks a bit different, it's really hard finding beads in Johannesburg that are of this quality and variety but they are stunning, I gave it my mom as a present and she wears it all the time.

I can see me heading to the bead store and making a ton of these earrings. I love super duos and have so many bracelets but do not have earrings to go with them so, I will make these and use crystals in the same colors as the duos to match. Love this...:)

Great project, thanks to both of you for bringing this to us. Poor Hailey...my cats are not allowed in the craft/sewing room either and to make us all happy I put up an antique screen door on a slider to keep them out but they could still talk to me.

Hi Stephanie! I love this asymmetrical look. Do you think I could do this using a ring instead of a coin pearl? I’d just try it, but I can’t figure out if the beads will stay where I put them. I thought I could wrap the top and bottom seed beads like in one of your other videos w the quick link ring (is that what they’re called?). I don’t mind making mistakes, but if you think it can’t physically work, I’ll make something else. When you have time, I’m interested in knowing what you think. Nicki

+08squareeyes08 You're most welcome 😊 Your tension and the width if the seed bead section should secure the beads to the side of the coin pearl. You can try roughing the edge if the coin pearl with a nail file to give the seed beads a surface to grip to. A thin line if e6000 along the edge could help also if your tension isn't tight enough. Hope this helps 🌻

Hi Maria🌻 You can find Swarovski coin pearls on most bead websites. Try Fusion Beads, Aura Crystals and Eureka Crystals.

Question please? I have irregularly shaped pearls ... loose square shapes. Irregular square with rounded corners ... would this design work with those? I just love these earrings. Fabulous! Super duper gorgeous!

I think you can try it with any rounded shape. However, I think round works best🌻

Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry awwwww, I've missed you too Hun! 😘 This job takes all my "fun time" away lol. I missssssss my beads & being creative. I was hired to work 4-10 hr shifts, but I pretty much work 4-12 hr shifts plus almost every Saturday......ugh. Getting too old for that lol. Can't wait to see the ring 😉 Is it pretty much all the "outer rings" of the pearl joined together with the bicones......kinda? Lol

Hi Stephanie, I absolutely love this tutorial. Since you posted it i have been trying to purchase the coin Pearls to make some for myself. I live in London England and you would think it would be possible to buy some. I have tried E bay, Etsy, Amazon and every bead shop i purchase my beads from and even shops i do not usually use. I thought i would even try 14mm coin beads, but even trying to purchase them has proven to be hard. Could you tell me where you purchased your coin pearls from please.

I’m not familiar with where they are exactly as I live in the US so I didn’t want to put a link here. This is such a beautiful design and I am trying and trying but the seedbeads just won't stay in place after I am done. No matter how tight I am pulling and beading. Do you have a tip how it remains on the side and not flipping to the middle? Thank you.

+jazzygyrly Try pulling the thread tight when you go through the coin pearl and place a stop bead at the end to keep your threads tight. It will move a little when manipulated but should be snug enough to stay on place. You can message me a pic to Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look.

Hi Stephanie. As promised my question for the Eclipse earrings :-). I tried to make them but I don't get the shape of that half bow like you :-(. I am using Fireline, the same beads, I pull the thread and and and. Do you maybe have an idea what I am doing wrong ? Thank you so much for your great support and your help. Love them !!! Love the pendant too !!! Since the earrings are called the Eclipse Earrings why not the necklace pendant be Solar Eclipse since we just had a Solar Eclipse... Anyway, love them both ... Thanks Steph for the tutorial !!!

Hello! Stephanie, I made this half moon earrings and so happy! Very very gorgeous. I have a Question, they sometimes turn backward or don’t face forward, I wonder if there are some ways to keep them face forward? Maybe don’t just move head too much? Haha! Anyway, Thank you so so much for teaching :)

Hi Kaori and thank you for your lovely comment. I find that when an earring isn’t sitting right it’s the earwire that is slightly bent in the wrong direction. Try straighten out your ear wire and see if that helps😊 Haha so funny!

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry Thank you, Stephanie! I checked and now it seems better with a little move. Haha! I think T-pin is the key... When it rotates, whole thing rotates. What about yours? They rotate? I arranged seed beads to metal beads I have, and they are heavier than seed beads so I wonder the weigh difference between both sides creates T pin rotation.
