Your culture is admirable . You make use of resources from the environment , nothing is wasted. No plastic bags instead natural biodegradable leaves used as wrappers and handy bags to carry stuff. Those brooms are very decorative and functional also.

I remember my grandmother cutting the coconut leaves and making broom sticks for home use. This video is so informative on how brooms are made from coconut leaves and coconut husks. Yes, coconut stick brooms were used for sweeping floors coconut husks were use as scrub buds for pots and pans. The millet and rice steamcakes with coconut and palm sugar filling looks very appetising. Thank you so much for sharing an interesting video. All the best. God bless.
