The Wooden Treehouse C, designed by Stilt Studios and located in Ubud, Indonesia, is a 64 m² eco-friendly lodging unit completed in 2021. This unique treehouse combines innovative architectural design with sustainable living. It features a core structural system of four vertical columns braced by a staircase, which suspends both the ceiling and the floor with steel cables, creating a hovering appearance and reducing the need for extensive building materials.
The layout is divided into a kitchen with a living area and a spacious bedroom connected by a bathroom, accommodating 2-4 people. The treehouse offers stunning views of the surrounding rice fields and Mount Agung. The surrounding garden, designed by True Nature Nusantara, includes a vibrant mix of ornamental and edible plants, adding to the natural beauty and sustainability of the property. This project exemplifies the integration of modern design with traditional and ecological principles.
