The eco activator in the green jar works amazing for me. It doesn’t leave my curls crunchy like the regular eco gel, it’s soft to the touch when it dries and the curls are amazing

The black castor eco styler gives me horrible flakes and build up by day 2😥😫 but ......... I love it!! It makes my curls pop like no other and they last. So it's a love/hate relationship.

nia Wow! Just shows how different everyone's hair is. I haven't used olive oil in a long time. My go to is the curl and wave eco it just doesn't give my curls the hold and definition the castor oil does.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this gel!!! I found that it works best when you wet your hair and use this LOC method. This will help eliminate the buildup and flakes. I hope this helps😊

So I have this type of hair where its so much soft and manageable when its wet but its so unmanegable when its dry and there would be so much difference during its dry and wet periods.i mean like am lost in between because i dont know what to do when it became like a jungle.and also my front hair is not curly at all while my back hair is so curly and much better.can you plz give me advice to fix that .

I went online and found designer touch activator. It makes my hair really grow. Love it. And i use the shea miracle leave in conditioner too. Wonderful combo

Eco is acting like SM, coming out with new gels every time we turn around. How about trying it again with a leave-in? It may reduce/elimate flaking. I hate the Eco Flaxseed b/c it flake like crazy; so I used it to lay my edges, but after a week or so, it broke me out (never had that to happen with any hair product). Thanks for sharing.

Have you tried eco cocktail? I'm 3c low porosity and I love it and scared to try anything else. I tried the castor oil one and it doesn't work for me

Cute...my experience with activator gels is it makes your hair look moisturized but is dry underneath. I think a leave in with a little oil underneath may have helped. Thanks for the vid

So would you say this is more suited for winter wash and go's than spring/summer with the humectants? Do you think using an oil or leaven wld have prevented the flaking and or sticky feeling? Wondering if you played with a couple times would you change your thoughts.

Deadra Rahaman typically humectants are better to be used in the summer especially if you live in a more warm tropical type of climate like in the south. The reason being is because it will draw moisture from your hair from the atmosphere. If you use it in the winter & it will draw moisture from your actual hair outward into the atmosphere which will leave you with chronically dry hair. But for some people their hair fares well no matter when you use it.
