Eco has been around a lot longer than Halo 5. Dude played Halo 3 back in the day and his first event was Halo Reach CBus 2012 where he got first rounded in the FFA and placed top 24 his first event. IF you put in the time and effort you can work you way to the top, he's proof.

Such a dramatic storyline especially looking back. This move damaged both Faze and C9 (now SSG) and Optic won Worlds in 2022. In 2023, Renegade's Faze signed the Sentinels roster that defeated his C9 squad at KC in 2022 and started this whole roster shakeup, eventually winning Worlds in 2023. Renegade's old squad has been a solid #3 in the rankings since he left, but look like they'll enter the first 2024 LAN as a top 2 squad.

Regardless of whether they lost to Native Red or Optic in the 2nd series. They won 4 straight games against the world champions and they absolutely shit on Faze and shut Renegade down consistently the whole series. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but they played well and deserved 2nd against Optic. Nobody else even took one game from optic in a series.

You can’t blame renegade though. He just wants to win and doesn’t like to loose which is a competitive personality. Now he is teaming up with Royal2 Frosty and Snakebite.

This move ended up being good for nobody. C9 got worse and Renegade is on a worse team.

You sure? Cloud 9 is still very strong, bound is doing so well in Renegades spot tbh, and he’s new, he’ll keep getting better. Not to mention C9 had a lot of chemistry at the beginning of the year whereas other teams may not have because they were not sure to each other, as far as I see it, other teams just started getting better, and C9 is still top 2 every tourney

@@keegan9901 yeah you make a good point I guess I was thinking about C9 relative to the competition but you are right that other teams improved their rosters and improved their chemistry over time. It always felt like C9s biggest edge was discipline and teamwork and Bound made some memorable mistakes in big moments but he also made huge plays for them.
