So I've seen a quite the mixed bag on this battery, some reviews say it's a steal of a deal, others say to avoid it like the plague... we're going to find out what this one is! We unbox the battery, attach it to a victron mppt solar charge controller and fully charge it with 600 watts of renogy solar panels, then do a capacity test to ensure that it at least pulls the full 150Ah! let see if this is a keeper!

Most solar panels are made to be in the rain!

Rain is good for solar panels as it washes them clean and cools them down.

The new 150s are Steel Cased. Using 2 for my Ultrex Trolling motor and a 100 for all my electronics. Batteries are absolutely incredible. I highly recommend.

These are decent for the money. A good BMS, new cells with a legitimate warranty barcode. I bought the Eco Worthy 1kw solar storage battery in the UK for £250, It was a steal at the time and I've rebuilt it with better wiring and inverter. Other manufacturers wanter £1000 for 1kw. DC guy has done a full teardown on KZfaq, I'll be buying a couple for a 24v build.

Low temp cut off is important for those living in cold weather situations. I ain't worried about that.

Hi Thanks for the review. Did you try the over current protection or the over voltage protection? I have the 30ah (4pcs) and im not shure, if it will cutoff if discharge it to heavy. Same for the short circuit protection. 🤔

I didn't test that. i set this up with a circuit breaker so i shouldn't have any issues...

Welcome I have two lithium batteries, each one 12 volts, 150 amps connected to System 24 Why does the first battery charge before the second battery when it only works for two hours? The draw from the two batteries is only one amp..?

What size inverter did you use? I’m looking for a single battery to run a 2500w inverter. I need to run a vacuum pump for hvac repairs.

I’m running 3000 watt inverter. It can power it, but that’s a lot of power to run sustained for that battery. I wouldn’t recommend higher than a 1C rate meaning if it’s a 150ah battery it’s best to stay at or below 150 amps…

It’s still working just as good as the day I got it. No issues with it yet.

As long as nobody has seen and checked the QR codes of the cells, nobody can say whether the battery is good or bad. A capacity test does not say much. I also recommend everyone to look up how each cell is graded and what the difference is between -A-, -B- and Grade C cells. Grade C cells are basically junk. It's better to buy AGM gel cells right away. They last longer.
