Wow. I have a Goal Zero 1500X and Dometic CFX3 75DZ. This just reconfirms for me....if i was starting fresh...i would heavily buy into the EcoFlow product line. Incredibly innovative and gobbling up market share.

This is definitely end game for me! Hoping to figure out my road trip / camping setup this winter to really get away next year and I'm pretty sure this is going to be a Splurge I make as a core part of my plan... Right now I'm just trying to figure out what power bank I should take to make sure I've got at least a couple days of power in case I stop somewhere for a bit, I don't have to run the car or figure out a place to plug things in. I'm thinking a Wave 2 might be smart as the other big spend as well, although I'm holding out hope that they figure out the dumb battery on it. Having to leave it on the conditioner to take somewhere to charge or have it rigged up to charge, the fact it doesn't charge nearly as fast as the rest of their power stations and the limitations inherent in its battery chemistry... I see no point in buying it with the battery since it also has pretty much exclusively limited uses with only that USB port. Delta 2 Max is looking like a benchmark for my comparison but I'm trying to find something with at least that much capacity but I'm fine with a lot more simplicity to reduce the initial expense😅

Looks like a great travel fridge. Our ICECO JP50 has been rock solid but if it ever quits we'd consider stepping up to a more feature rich fridge like this.

Yeah, I still like my JP40 but it's bare bones. If this was available at the time, I would have sprung for this though it's a bit too bit to fit in my camper

You may not have hands on with it yet, but between this and the dual zone Anker Everest, which would you lean towards?

Good question. I decided to not review the EverFrost but there are pros/cons to each. I like the sleek design, higher solar input, and icemaker of the Glacier but I like that wheels aren't an accessory (but aren't removable) and the dual lid design of the EverFrost 50. They are pretty similar but I personally would go with the Glacier.

@@todd.parker I’m pretty sure we’re looking at twice the price after the earlybird deals are compared between the 2 liter Everfrost and the Glacier with battery’s and wheels added. I got in at $689 shipped. But I am looking into a Wave 2 so that Wave 2 and Glacier bundle might close the gap a bit more. It just doesn’t include a battery for the wave or the glacier and they’ve been tight lipped on add on battery cost for the wave 2. Makes the decision tough with the Anker campaign ending in a few days.

@@GetOutSmore Yeah, not a fan of all the launch pricing and crowdsourcing games. I'm testing the Glacier now (it's great!) but don't have pricing yet. I'll say the battery is required for the Glacier if you want to make ice on DC or use solar but on the Wave 2, if you have a Delta power station, you could just use that. I think it will be $700-900 based on the original Wave battery pricing. Since it's NCM, I think you might better off getting a Delta 2 because it's LFP unless you really want the integrated battery look. Guessing a LFP Max is right around the corner too...

Use an air mattress pump to blow out the ice maker for cleaning?

Nice video. I thought either zone can be used as a freezer or refrigerator? Maybe I remembered wrong.

Thanks! You can set the temp how you like on either side but in the manual, they say the right zone is the freezer and it can get a bit colder than the left if I remember correctly. There are a few nuanced rules I didn't get into in the video but for all intents and purposes, either side can be the freezer.

@todd.parker the manual isn't available online so I really appreciate the clarification. I'm really trying to vet this because it is such a significant purchase. I would find it really handy heading out on a trip with a bunch of Frozen stuff in the larger side and then as I go through food, flip the fridge to the larger side. Actually quite a big selling point to me since doing the math there is quite a bit more space on a larger side even though it doesn't look it to put in more frozen vegetables and stuff

You said it doesn’t make ice with only the 12V battery and you need the extra internal battery to make ice… so there’s an internal 12V battery in addition to the extra 298W/hour battery?

Sorry if unclear! I was referring to the removable 298wh battery. It needs to be installed alongside a 12v input to make ice

ECOFLOW ROBBED ME!! I ordered x2 Ecoflow Delta 2 that cost around @2,600 dollars. . I had called customer service to cancelt them right away and I was assured that they won't be charging me for shipping because I won't get the products anyway. After 2 weeks. They charged me shipping cost on the first order plus penalty of more than 4%. They stated that penalty is 2.6%. I felt these penalties are too much for items I have not even touched. They refused to refund me on the second order citing system error on their part. Ecoflow are thieves who robbed their customers. Please don't purchase any Ecoflow products. Very bad customer service. They are plunderers who must be jailed and not allowed to do business in America.

Yikes that doesn’t sound good. I’d keep calling, they have very good customer support in my experience
