if the number doesnt need to be changable from other cell inputs i would maybe just copy and paste as value. (cntr + c) ) then (cntrl+alt+v) pick as values @@iborass

Do you have to do this each time? Or is there a setting in options that can just make it a default? I changed the setting you mentioned in options but still have to configure to columns

Note: First you have to have SAVED file - so it has to exists and not be just a draft. Second you have to select exact fields, not entire column because my text in field 1 broke the rule. At least for me it didnt work and work after I did those things.

I see this as just another example of terrible MS programming. If excel thinks that a period is a comma then EXCEL HAS TO DISPLAY TO THE USER WHAT IT THINK IT IS..NOT SOMETHING ELSE LIKE A PERIOD! WTF MICROSOFT GET YOUR CRAP TOGETHER FOR ONCE!
