Well considering the Drum Major instructor Mr. Sampson is a JSU graduate and the school colors are Blue and White, I can see it. That's a good thing.

Thank you Gentleman1911 for clearing the air with these negative comments. I am a proud Viking who is enjoying the growth of The Marching Sound Of Class. Every band small or large have all been influenced by some other university whether they would like to admit it or not. Viking Pride!

I wish I could understand the reason for all the negativity on KZfaq towards certain programs. I would think we should want to see all!!! the HBCU band programs grow and do well.

Do you have any early footage of ECSU prior to 1990? Would love to check it out.

I hate when folks got to compare bands.All bands sound good in the Swac,Meac,and other conferences.Im a JSU fan,but Im quick to tell you all I like ESCU and other bands.I dont care who wins the Battle of Bands,just keep on jammin,lol!We should be proud of all bands,because the work they put in is taxing!Hell,we hate getting up for work and we surely aint gonna get up and bang on a drum or play an instrument.So,respect them folks for their craft and say nice things,it might make u feel better!!

They have come along way. So what if you think they sound like jsu, or if the auxilury works together. Who cares. They sound and look great. Give them their props.

And ESCU,them chics fine as aged wine...Even the chics carrying the banner...What yall feeding them chics up there?
