Congrats man!!!! I’m so hyped watching this, can’t wait till spring! I want to find out who has the better Z!!! You wouldn’t believe it, but a year ago I was in hospital, the docs telling my family I might not make it. I’m on my iPad watching moto Maddox videos. I told my sis, I’m gonna do this. She thought it was the morphine making me crazy! 😂🤣😂🤣 Just watching you work on your bike, it just seemed like the best thing in the world. The total opposite of my situation. One year later and I have a channel, hopefully have 500 followers by the end of the month. When I was out doing test rides today, it went through my head. So I’m officially calling you out!!! This spring! Just keep me away from those stripped roads. #battleofthez’s

Hey Madoxx, ive been following you for a couple months. i have exactly the same 2022 white and black z900 but with a leo vince corsa carbon slip on im from Panama and i love your content because it gives me feedback of the mods you are doing to the bike Im thinking buying the same Black Widows headers you got thanks to you, it is one of the cheaper ones but it sounds pretty good, after that ecu is a must.

Cool. Thanks for supporting the channel, much appreciated! I've done black widow UK headers on my last two Kawasaki's. I think the kits are pretty good. I also think mixing the pipes and different silencers adds that extra little unique touch!

Ktech does a great suspension upgrade for this bike

That's what I've heard. I do have Ktech at the top of my list if I ever do feel the need to update the suspension. They also seem to have a good dealer/distribution/support network in the U.S. as well. Thanks for the note!

Just subscribed to your channel, hailing from Brooklyn, ENY! I own a Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe, love my bike. But that throttle in 1st gear is twitchy as heck!! I'm going to have that issue fixed with Ivan Performance soon.

Hahaha! I'm impressed. Ain't no way I could button my helmet with my gloves on! Are you running any cold weather gear, or are you comfortable when it's in that 40 to 50° weather?

Ha! I got a lot of practice during the MSF course because I kept forgetting to strap my helmet up. I do have some warm base layers, but I'm still pretty comfortable down to like 50 deg or so.

I can see that load coming off the front forks on acceleration. Do you think you would power wheelie if the TC is off?

That's a good question. I'm not sure. I've only switched off KTC a few times just to test the bike, but I haven't done it with this tune yet.

@motomaddox gotcha! I'm nervous about it, but I plan on turning TC off to see how differently the bike responds. I'm not a risky rider, so I feel like I should be fine. I've only had the bike intervene one or two times. That's because I tried to power wheelie on purpose on one or two occasions since I bought the bike like 1½ years ago.

I live in belgium and have Z900se 125hp. Model 2023 Is it really an difference for doing the ecu flash and do you have an adress for in belgium( Flanders)? Greetings, Raymond

Yes, there is a noticeable difference in throttle response and acceleration - but it is still a very smooth response. The place is used for my flash, Brock's Performance, does ship internationally from the U.S. - and probably some of the other vendors do as well. Thanks for checking in! I've had the please of traveling to Brussels several times, and always enjoy the beer - especially at Delirium Cafe. I added my custom $1 bill to the bar's ceiling!

How do you like that color shade for your visor. Does it brighten things up?

My visor works great for daytime riding. It practically eliminates any glare from the sun, and still offeres good visibility in both overcast and low light conditions ( e.g. tunnels). I don't experience any sensation of things being clearer or brighter though. I currently have both the mirror tinted visor seen in this video, and a dark visor on my other helmet. They both work well for blocking out sunlight, which is especially important if you're riding directly towards it.

@@rawcircoking I seldomly ride at night, but I have a clear visor for my Bell that swaps easily with no tools. It's not recommended to wear a tinted visor at night, especially not a dark one.
