Eczacibasi vs Scandicci has been the best series so far in the Champions League. They have played three times so far and it never disappoints. Good job to both teams, can't wait till the 4th and final match!

We saw amazing defense from both teams in this match, i was sitting at the edge of my seat most of the time. And yes, the strongest teams played against weaker teams so far in this tournament, was no fun at all but Scandicci and Ecz are pretty much at a similar level. So yeah, i agree with @@blaz3ofglory

Brings back memories of prime Naz, though not quite as sharp. Her passes tend to fall short frequently. Correcting these shortcomings could elevate Eczacı to a true powerhouse once again. This is what Boskovic deserves. Everyone should give their best to honor Boskovic's loyalty.

If Naz and Elif can use the good passes to Boss on true time , Eczaci ll still have a chance to get over the competition at Frenzi. In addition Eczaci was thinking that they could never win against Scandicci until yesterday , because of last 2 matches between both team. I guess the fouth (last) match ll never be similar to first two matches , it ll be similar to the match that played yesterday.

World club champions Eczacibasi managed to stop the rot of Turkish teams losing in the first leg of the quarterfinals. It was a much better performance than losing to Scandicci at the group stage though still a tough match. They must be prepared for a challenging second leg away match.

Такой волейбол нам нужен. Показалось в конце SCANDICCI и Антропова немного подсели. Но какие разные 2,02м у SCANDICCI и Фенербахче. Eczacibasi и Тияна Бошкович подтвердили свой класс и подсластили пилюлю, полученную накануне. Тренер разменял прием Воронковой на быстрые, прострельные атаки Грей и не ошибся. При таком блоке Ирине было бы трудно с её классической академичностью. Болельщиков всех команд ждут нелегкие времена в ответных матчах за исключением может быть Vero Volley.

@@vacantao8000 Спасибо. Но у Ирины Воронковой отличная выучка. Припоминаю недавний матч Eczacibasi в Султанлар лиге, начало матча и без Ирины. Никакой игры, потому что никакого приема. Eczacibasi летит в тар-тарары и тренер выпускает Воронкову, и кажется, вместо той же Грей. Прием подач налаживается и игра пошла. Ирина классический доигровщик: она и на приеме и в защите стелется и в атаке хороша. Всё-таки школа!

Some people were too quick to guess that Turkish teams would simply lose. It was rather wishful thinking than an objective guess. Turkish teams have been dominating the champions league for years, they had the most championships and cups. Italian teams could have a better squad this year, but we 🇹🇷will definitely give them a run for their money. So hold your horses, championship is not in the bag 😉.

In realtà il suo servizio nel set3 ad un certo punto ha scombussolato l'andazzo..ha colpito...poi è calata pure lei nel proseguo..ma non è una cosa strana, l'opposto è il perno di una squadra. ZhuTing non ne parliamo proprio. Quella giunta in Italia non è la vera, il.suo.infortunio la condiziona sempre. Per me è(era)una fuoriclasse assoluta ma è troppo discontinua, poi non può esprimersi al meglio da tempo ....

Haak è davvero interessante, perché le svedesi non sono forti ed interessanti, normalmente..lei lo è...non voglio fare una classifica, ma solo evidenziare quanto Haak sia valida!

Good job girls but it should have been 3-1. Still in last two sets you finally showed who you really are to Scandicci after two losses. There is a nice saying: ''The wolf felt the taste of blood on her teeth''. This is what happened today and Scandicci will remember this last two sets in Italy. Now everyone is of course talking about Boskovic only but: Grey was really good. She is mostly unbalanced during a game but this time she was more consistent with few mistakes. Sometimes Hande and sometimes Grey. One of them MUST help Boskovic and it was Grey today. Hande was great on defence again but should focus more on timing of her attacks. Beyza played perfect- she is actually 3rd middle blocker of Turkish national team after Güneş and Kalaç. She and Snead play in different styles and that really confused Scandicci. Naz gave us a scenery from her old golden times. She was great too and of course Simge Aköz- the MVP. She gave the strength team needs with incredible defence. Scandicci: Herbots was great as always- I love her ambition but she could not receive so many balls to use. Since the first day Antropova could never impress me and she could not again. Carol was mediocre- actually she is mediocre since last two seasons and had a really bad VNL yet she is still considered as a legend by some people strangely. This team is strange because they played so solid and almost robot like professional- and then suddenly everything got broken and they rapidly became more and more unbalanced.

Alexa started to stand out during the Club World Champs in December and that's when she started to be a first choice as an OH in the Sultanlar Ligi. She played amazingly in the attack on this CWCH final and today (although struggling a little bit in reception), giving Tijana the help she needs. Beyza is having a fantastic season, a way better one than the last one (when Yasemin was playing more often, who is unfortunately no longer in the team) so no wonder she's now a first choice for Ferhat for such a long time during this season. I could see Simge was struggling a little bit in last few domestic league matches (perfectly understandable, no one can play at their highest level all the time) but today she was outstanding and there could be no better choice than her for the MVP award!!! Well deserved and I am so happy they still appreciate the liberos - our Paweł "Zator" Zatorski earned the MVP award at the 2023 VNL ;) Sinead is still brilliant, love to watch her. And Naz was an amazing replacement for Elif - I hope nothing serious happened to Elif and she will soon get better. Congrats to ECZ and also to Scandicci for fighting so hard. That's what we, fans, want to see - a fierce fight until the very last ball. Of course I cheer on my favourite players and teams but I am also happy if the opponent team is winning (i.e. Stuttgart over FB) as this is sport and these athletes give their best so we all shall appreciate their efforts and just enjoy watching this fantastic sport.

@@DVDpproductions All true. Yasemin by the way is now gonna play as a first choice in Çukurova Bld. in Sultan's League. She had problems with Ferhat- don't know what exactly. I guess you are Polish and your knowledge on Turkish players is very impressive! Polish squad is my no.2 after Turkey. I am happy that Rozanski is also gonna play in Turkish league soon!

Scandicci is a team in crisis... and unfortunately we find ourselves in the worst of times... unfortunately the critical issues had been there for some time if we analyzed the most critical matches and you have already noticed them too: Carol, but above all the gangs... even a free man in crisis... etc. Volleyball teaches us that often the first legs of the championships and the groups in the cups often give an idea of the solidity of the team which is then often contradicted; on the other hand, Eczacibasi has grown a lot, if they continue to grow and maintain their standard they have excellent chances of going through and playing the final stages of the cup as "protagonists". I'll add just one thing Antropova is very young, she needs to gain experience... and I think she needs to leave Scandicci to grow better, we will certainly hear more about her and for the better...

@@mertnecati875 As both my favourite players currently play in Turkish league I am very familiar with their teams playing in Sultanlar Ligi ;) And I know that Yasemin is already playing in Cukurova since a few weeks, I've seen her blocking skills by myself last year in Rzeszów (yes, I am Polish ;)) and I could see in one of the matches she did 7 blocks!! There are so many good blockers nowadays, I also love Carol (although she's struggling a little bit nowadays) - she was amazing in 2022 World Champs apart from that one match - the final - when the Serbians did not let any of the Brazilians play their best volleyball (probably it was Serbians' strategy ;)), even Gabi was helpless, just like our male squad did not let Italians play their best volleyball in 2023 Euro Volley's final. Oh, I did not know Olivia is moving to Turkey, great to hear that.

conegliano, milan, novara, vakifbank, fenerbahce, eczacibasi.....their core team apart from top players, many of them have heights above 192cm -200cm... Apart from Zhu Ting and Anthropova, Scandicci players under 190cm... especially in the MB position... it is difficult for them to withstand the opponent's attacks, especially those that come from MB's attacks. scandicci requires MB over 195cm...and has a strong attack.

Zhu Ting's offense dropped significantly in at least in her last five games, including here. She hasn't gotten her game going maybe because she's only 2nd/3rd option in offense? I am still hoping and waiting for her to come back in her best shape and be the best in the world again.

Bad match for Scandicci in attack ... Antropova and especially Zhu ( perhaps goes to Conegliano next year) are not at their best in this period... Maja is struggling in defense... and Parrocchiale is really down... they can win the second leg if they play as have often done this season ... but they have to wake up.

Eczacibasi needs an experienced setter asap. Maja’s absence is obvious at Tijana´s play, although she is still top notch scorer and player. That is pure talent.

Inizio con il dire che ovviamente Scandicci può ancora vincere al ritorno, dove giocherà in casa, e che sia all'andata che al ritorno nel girone di qualificazione, Scandicci ha vinto 3 a 1. Detto questo ciò che mi importava era il passaggio alle semifinali di Milano e Conegliano, e forse è meglio così, tanto Scandicci non avrebbe nessuna possibilità contro Conegliano, che al 99% vincerà questa champions. Non sottovalutiamo comunque Antropova al ritorno, sei grande Kate!

Fa due set horror, pur avendo un roster non da ridere..Scandicci (a me, che non ho una squadra del cuore e seguo tutte per passione)mi delude da tempo: campioni ne arrivano, poi toppa...sembra poter lottare per lo scudetto, poi le manca qualcosa...non le vedo troppo pretendente per la coppa...poi hai ragione pure tu, non è che deve uscire per forza subito..ma non è che la veda bene bene🫣

E via! Scandicci non riesce a vincere di nuovo😉..doveva succedere. Grande Boskovic e grande Gray (ce la ricordiamo bene!)... Antropova è sempre lì, ma commette troppi errori..poi c'è da dire cge negli ultimi set Scandicci cala di brutto. Comunque c'è il ritorno..noi italiani incrociamo le dita 🤞

@@pedrito7000 Ciao Pedrito ho la tua stessa sensazione ,temo per un golden set. Per rispondere a Fabio credo che Scandicci manchi in una precisa impronta di gioco data dall'allenatore, che pure mi è simpatico. Mi sembra un insieme di grandi nomi senza un gioco che li definisca .
