True. Check out Heather Myles, Heidi Hauge, Darrel Armstrong, Kirstin Daugaard, Shawn Diddy, Hoss Curtis, Bjoro Haland, Ben Haggard, Pamela Gilmartin, Olivia Harms, Whey Jennings, Tara Lynn. They're more in line with country music tradition.

Looking for good music like this Go to KZfaq and check out music by Heather Myles and Heidi Hauge. These ladies I found try to keep country music tradition alive. Here's a song they recorded that's worth noting: NASHVILLE'S GONE HOLLYWOOD. This song describes how country became only about looking sexy and money. Another song that describe this thing is MURDER ON MUSIC ROW by George Strait off his album Latest Greatest Straitest Hits. If you like these albums for yourself, look on Amazon and Ebay.

Ed also stared in the tv series "Bret Maverick" 1981 - 1982. He played the part of the sheriff. Ed Bruce has a mellow voice that I could listen to for hours. Thanks.

Fake modern country artists with their music genres of rock, pop, dance and rap mixed the genres with country and they murdered country music tradition on music row. Music industry corporates helped to. Country music today is not so much about talent but mostly being sexy and having good looks. It has nothing to do with real life, love, everyday living and adversity. Country music of the past told stories, talked about real life, and other things folks can connect with. Don't count on true traditional country music now. It's just useless noise, a Justin Bieber style of country. Check out Heidi Hauge, Heather Myles, Shawn Diddy, Bjoro Haland, Hoss Curtis, Darrel Armstrong, Ben Haggard(Merle Haggard's son), Tayla Lynn(Loretta Lynn's granddaughter),Sara Storer, Angela Liden, Larry Cunningham, Martin Delray on KZfaq. Look on Amazon or eBay for their music CDs. May have to google each artist to find the website for their music.

When Ed Bruce started singing (the song didn't matter) there was no doubt who the artist was, and the DJ announcing had to go through the formality anyway of who was singing what song. Great writer, performer, and yes, actor too. Another piece of America's lost. He'll be a great addition up where all the stars perform live (borrowed from Gary Morris' song The Man Upstairs). Condolences and best wishes to family and friends suffering through their loss.

Met a lot of ladies while I followed the rodeos, most of them good except for the one who swiped my calf roping buckle I won in Pocatella that night. Married three Texans, turned out the only good one of the bunch was that last. A barrel racer and ranch brat from the panhandle south of Amarillo.
