@@MattNotFat He's Scandinavian(albeit obviously with a cartoony twist). This is apparent in the subtle and obvious details such as his name (Hrolf or Rolf), his accent (he sounds very similar to eastern Norwegians), his hobby as a farmer, the represention of "the old country" in his flashback, the fact that he has been seen wielding a battle axe, and the subtle hint that during the Halloween episode when he saw Ed (whom was dressed as a viking) he delightedly invited him to "come celebrate".. also he was harvesting Mushrooms.

Are you stealing Rolf's soul with your Film-Box??? _RETURN ROLF'S CHICKENS!_ I know they never say where he's from but I always assumed he was either Irish, German, Romani, Polish or Ukrainian. One of those but also a mix of all of them. The CreepyPost about the kids being trapped in a Twilight Zone scenario said Rolf was a victim of the Retaliation air-raids on Berlin Germany. So, strong case for being a Shepard's son from Rual Germany.

@@paul329869 actually, it’s more of the fact that Rolf was stepping in to prevent love hypnosis. Everyone was falling in love because they were forced to and Rolf wanted to save them. Why do you think he didn’t take notice when May and Edd looked at each other at the end as if the trance didn’t wear off? Because that was a sign of true love that the trance couldn’t fake, so Rolf didn’t have to worry.

I love how he's a foreign kid, but the show doesn't just go for the easy jokes of "lol ain't this foreign kid such a weirdo?" Rolf clearly has friends who accept and respect him for being himself, which is a good message to give to kids; especially ones who may be different from the norm like Rolf is.

Rolf and Ed are like the Demigods of the cul-de-sac. Both have immense strength that can be influenced by their emotions or motives. Rolf though can sense when something supernatural is present and be coherent of it, while Ed has such a high pain tolerance, he sometimes doesn't even know he should be in pain.

I always thought of Rolf was supposed to be of northern descent (Rolf is a common name for older men in Sweden) but I always thought the accent felt generic and unidentifiable. I cannot quite hear that it is supposed to be a greek accent, not even a toned down version of it. Throughout the video I was thinking "what accent is this supposed to be? Definitely european, but from where? Toned down slavic accent? French accent w/o the rolling R's and w/o the Ze's?" Greek accent is interesting, because they dont have any "Ch" sound. Ex: Ketchup = Ketsapp. Catch = Kats. Czech = Tsek. Longer E-pronoinciations become I's. Example: Feel = Phil. Greece = Gris. Gris is Pig in swedish btw. Now Im off to a tangent but still fun. I enjoy accents and Im intrigued by them and I love imitating them. Poorly or good, still fun either way :D And the VA for Rolf is doing a phenomenal job!
