I love this cause I am an African American and my grandfather worked in the shipyard and they would sing songs just like this (ex.ROSIE) and it gave it justice, Ed Sheeran has a lot of soul. It made me smile in honor of my grandfather.

When I saw him in concert, he was so passionate and powerful when he sang, but when he was done and everyone was applauding, he thanked us and the crew and hurried off the stage like he was embarrassed by the screams.

A lot of artists try and change songs to make them more heterosexual and it would be impossible to do that for this song (the entire thing is about marrying a man, no male singer could make this song straight) but I'm really glad he did it anyway and didn't try to change anything

Ever since his concert when he preformed this live, I've always been blown away with the fact that you clap every 7 seconds through out the entire song, start to finish, and it fits in perfectly in between every verse! try it, when he starts playing the guitar, clap every 7 seconds.

I was privileged enough to see him open for the freaking Rolling Stones, in a stadium full to the brim with 60thousand PLUS!!! I commented to my amazingly beautiful company for that magical night and told her, this dude has got some kind of confidence!!!! Even if the Stones said they would cancel their tour if I turned down the offer to open for them, I would still be corpse stiff, white, pale skinned and scared as hell to walk on an enormous stage with nothing but an acoustic guitar and microphone, to perform to more people than the entire population of a lot of towns and cites!! He did. He was exactly as good as any time I've heard, live or mastered in a studio. This kid is seemingly inhuman! At the same time, more human than most could ever hope to be. WTF!?!?? I actually saw a lot of folks LEAVE after his opening show for one of the most successful bands in the last century! Screw Jagger, they came for a nerdy red head brit covered in tattoos and torn Jean's. If this doesn't give you confidence to do ANYTHING possible, nothing can. Wow.

Love him so much. I like everything about Ed. He's real, authentic, fun and passionate! While other artists are trying to sell how they look, Ed is only giving us amazing music and real talent. I hope to listening him for a very long, long time. Great cover and I am a truly Nina Simone fan.
