I was listening to the new album this morning while driving to work...cried all my makeup off when I heard this song...a masterpiece! I know it's about suicide and suicidal ideation but it also speaks to me as a song about grief...I lost my mom recently and the "it was just a dream" line is what plays over and over still....Ed you are amazing!

You should listen to Moving. It's the last one of the bonus songs on the deluxe version of the album, but it was uploaded without the official video. It's the third top song for me besides these two. I can second to that. Great songs 🎵

There's always a story behind every song. I've always loved Ed's songs but wasn't a hard core fan. However, after last night concert at Lumen Field, I was amazed by his live performance, which refreshed my view of Ed. Going to listen to all the songs again with different feelings. Love you Ed. Just came back from his Concert at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas May 6th 2023. Was an awesome concert and it was cool to know that it was the first time that Ed Sheeran played his new album in front of a huge crowd of 60k+ people (Album released May 5th 2023). Great night! The stage set up was really good as well, I won't give away any spoilers if any of you are planning on going, but he sounded really good live and put on a heck of a show.

I just love how Ed can help heal pain, grief and negativity through listening to his songs. I just love hearing him everyday and when I hear his voice everytime, it feels like he is in my head guiding me and being with me always through the good times and the bad times even when im alone. He never gives up on his passion for music just like how people shouldn't give up on their goals and dreams for the future. Keep at it Ed and if you ever read this, just know how much listening to you has changed me fully as a person and my focus through life has never been more clear before because of your spirit and infulences you sing to everyone around the world. The minute I heard this song I knew it was going to be my favorite in the album, but it hit me so hard that I was driving and had to pull over because I broke down. Ed went into another level of honesty in this album and I never EVER expected song number 2 to be about suicid*. This album should've come with a trigger warning for Grief - and I mean this in the BEST way possible - because it's like putting a finger in the wound but in a cathartic way. I am so grateful I have been listening to Ed throughout all of these years. I was excited about this track because I also wrote a song called "Saltwater" back in 2021 when my cousin died of Covid, so that expression means a lot to me. I might put it out someday, who knows. But wow. What a song. Lyrics are haunting. Ed's vocals are probably the BEST I've ever heard him singing ever. Aaron's production is beautiful as always. I am so grateful for this piece of art. And I'm also grateful for your existence, Ed. Thank you for staying.

Ed, getting the impression from all of the water related songs/videos that losing Jamal and Cherry's diagnosis is cleary having a metaphorical 'drowning' effect over you. I too am drowning in emotions right now after losing my father, and please remember, as you state that the waves wont break your boat. There are billions of us, out at sea with our fears and emotions. Due to your status, you probably feel disassociated from the rest of us, but we are all here with you mate, paddles and bailing buckets in hand. Here's to the staircase ahead of you, may you march ever forward. PS. I hear the views are pretty good from the top, so please dont stop marching. x
