He is so fine but you can tell that he is a deep thinker and very well cultured. I like how he is an amazing actor but stays very low key and humble.

What a great interview and what a wonderful philosophy on life! He’s observant, analytical, reflective n future orientated on self improvement and making the world a better place by sharing his learning. Be a sponge, be gracious, be prepared to understand alternative perspectives and do things for the right reason, the sacred way! I learned a lot from this interview. Thankyou Ed Skrein n Ryan Nile❤️

I always loved Skrein's music. I had no idea he was a couple years above me at the same school.

I enjoy listening to long interviews when I start making dinner, to break the silence, when I don't listen to music. I stumbled upon this earlier today, clicked play and expected to switch it off once done making my food, as usual. But I actually ended up eating my dinner behind the computer screen, just to hear this entire interview and man... Long story short; I got a burnout at 26, a mental disorder diagnosis at 27 that explains the burnout. And now, at 28, I've been feeling so stuck in life as I felt too old to start a new chapter, or just being too scared to try new things that actually might make me happy, you know? I've seen several of Ed's movies, but never knew much about him. So when he started to speak about being rock bottom at 27, and now seeing where he is... that was a big eye opener, let me tell you. Sometimes you have to hear certain stories in order to wake up, and see that this is not the end of the line yet. And I didn't expect to find that here, but I did. So much respect for this entire interview!

He did a damn good American accent in Midway. Not only did he have to do an American accent, but he also needed to do the Jersey Dialect. He sounds completely different here.

So, it looks likes I didn't click with any of this. I'm a working class, white, Yorkshireman, born in the 70s, who has been cursed with a posh accent. So I've felt "imposter syndrome" my who life, & it NEVER switched off. All I learned here is that Ed is ashamed of his skin colour, ashamed of his country, & isn't "English".....presumably cos being English is "historically bad". That's not helped me one bit in finding who I am, it's just told me that I should be ashamed too. Not very helpful to someone with mental health issues eh? Thanks for that life-ending revelation. (& you can pass that on to Ed too)

Haha wow. I think it might’ve difficult for him to remove his accent for his role in Midway. Then he had to go further to add a Jersey accent instead… which I must say, really wasn’t good 😆 Seems like a nice guy though

Him bigging himself up for turning down an Asian role, smh. Would he have turned it down without the public backlash? Why say yes to a clearly Asian role? He doesn’t care that he’s whitewashing and stealing someone else’s role
