how did you do the +80 topbar ? its nifty :)
@mitsunarisanada96466 жыл бұрын
I think that's just the result of his `cl` command. E.g. put a file called `cl` somewhere in your $PATH with the following contents: #!/bin/sh clear echo ' +8 +16 +24 +32 +40 +48 +56 +64 +72 +80' for him a regulaur `clear` like he does at 0:18 also produces the bar, so he must have changed the clear command too, but I probably wouldn't want regular clear to always produce such a bar ;)

Mitsunari Sanada is there a way to indent c source code in the opened buffer? The indent command can do it but not in the open buffer
@mitsunarisanada96466 жыл бұрын
Mohamed Fouad I don't think it's possible, because the ! command does not allow an adress to be passed as input (at least not for gnu ed: www.gnu.org/software/ed/manual/ed_manual.html#shell-escape-command) If you use ex (which is also part of modern-day vim as "ex mode") the following works $ vim -e Entering Ex mode. Type "visual" to go to Normal mode. :a void foo() { int a; a = 5; if (a < 4) { return; } a++; } . :1,$!indent 10 lines filtered :1z # you see indented contents I can't think of a good way to do this in ed beside writing part of your buffer to a temporary file, running your shell command on that temp file and reading the result of that back into your buffer - which seems cumbersome to say the least ;)

Mitsunari Sanada thanks :)) also i noticed that indent defaults depends on the os linux or bsd :))
