Mickey and his wife came to my show last night in Philly. Dinner and drinks were on me. He text me this morning said he had a great time. They also told me he had no idea ronnie was a character or that it was me. I met him a few times when I went into his shop to buy some things and he just thought he (Ronnie) was my friend. Go pay Mickey a visit, he’s a gem.

@@edbassmasteryou should come down to Alabama with any of your characters. Look for Lacon Trade Day in Lacon Alabama. It's an old old flea market I grew up going to. It's not as fancy as used to be but I guarantee you will run into some characters there. Hillbillies, rednecks, inbreeds and more. Come on down.

I hold Ed up there close to Sasha Baron Cohen. They are so funny because they play slightly exaggerated versions of real people you might meet on a long haul Greyhound Bus trip. I remember one overnight greyhound trip where this guy would not stop talking to the driver or anybody near buy while everyone else was trying to get some sleep. He kept apologizing though saying . . "I got verbal diarrhea you see. . . diarrhea of the mouth".
