This is the third installation of our videos on Electronic Data Collection. In this video, we will be using ODK Build, which is a freeware that allows the quick authoring of forms for use on a mobile phone. An example questionnaire is used in this video to demonstrate this tool development

Hello Sir, thanks for the tutorials. They have been very helpful to me. I have followed all the steps and developed a questionnaire in the ODK Build. However, it has been a challenge downloading it as an xlsform format. A warning reading, 'something went wrong when expertorting..' do you know I can work this out?

Hi Oduor, I am glad you found this useful. If you are getting an error while trying to export, the form is telling you that there is likely a problem with maybe the logic or some settings. I would advice you to look at each question carefully and see whether it’s a particular question that is problematic. Don’t forget to backup first 👍. I hope this helps

Good question Nomeh, there are so many different tools you can use. You can try Kobotoolbox (Recomended), google forms, survey monkey, Ona , Enketo e.t.c Check out my amazing video on kobotoolbox here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kNSae9pnuLGlhJs.html . A lot of people have used this video for their data collection tools successfully.

I showed how I got it in the advanced video. Unfortunately, the owners of the software have changed the installation to using docker, are you familiar with using this?
