I love how Mike said he did the rust repair, fixed the dents, did the air ride suspension, etc. when in fact he spent none of the 31 man hours fixing that truck, but rather Ed did

This model known as Bedford KB in the UK and the Bedford Brava that followed it are now extremely rare and desirable collector cars. Most went to Africa so the very few survivors are sought after and fought over.

It's true,in Africa(Kenya)where i hail from,they were plenty and a few are remaining. My dad had a baby blue one when i was a teenager,learned to drive in it.I wonder if it's a collectible classic,i know of one stacked up in a barn after the old man died and the widow won't sell it.

Also be good to get two gallons of rust olem bed liner coating to protect the bed from being scratched up and from rust to. I love these little trucks, wish the were still made today in 2022.

I bought my red shortbox 1980 LUV new in 1980 and still have it safely stored under cover inside my dry shop out of harm's way. 160,000 original miles and it's ALL stock and number's matching. ;-)

Always wise, to paint the underside bed, frame floor boards and the chassis with black rust olem paint while you have this little truck taken apart. That way, it will last much longer without rusting out or loosing it to rust damage.

I love Wheeler Dealers with both mechanics, but Edd's last season was a disaster. Who cares about a pick up truck in a hipster dress? Of all the things you could have done to it, this is probably the dullest.

They were actually made by Isuzu in Japan and Marketed by Chevrolet in US as Chevy LUV and by Vauxhall Motors in the Uk as Bedford KB. In Asia they were sold as the Isuzu Faster.

Originally yes, no power and lucky if there's no rust. Also true they are hard to sale in the original condition(that's why I got mine for free) but most of the surviving luvs have been fixed up a little and have a small block chevy engine in them. I'm going with a ls6 vette engine in mine,you know, since it was a free truck. Body and chassis was built pretty tuff though
