This piece was not written as part of an opera but is often inserted as a guest appearance performance at the Ball in the 2nd act of Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss 2nd.

I dont know this recording - tomorrow I will see Ms Moser for tea!

i have searched for years trying to find edda moser in cd in USA, a friend accidentally found a 2 cd recording with the first cd of opera missing. i hope she gets more albums released in america sometime, her voice is intoxicating!
