His real name is Brooks Mason. He has dabbled in other genres of music that are nothing like this. His blues music as a result gets labeled Eddie 9volt. Which to guitar players its clever. We get it. Nothing odd imo about it.

Good Blues band...Sax player needs a tenor. Alto's sound too weak. Guitarist/singer does more caffein than the rest...uneven energy on stage is disconcerting to watch.
