Nancy gifted eddie a ovation acoustic guitar (he didnt own a acoustic) and he was really touched by that gesture that he calls her and plays a song (or etude as she called it) he wrote for her, and then she says at one point during him playing the phone goes dead because he fell asleep on her

Eddie and Alex were as close as close can be. With the exception of being brothers music was the most common connection between the two. That's all they knew!

If you take a closer look at the US Festival concert Van Halen did they were all ripped while they were playing , it wasn't just Dave .
