www.vladtv.com - During our hilarious - albeit serious - interview with comedian Eddie Griffin, the established Hollywood actor decided to share tales of his personal bouts with both Bill Cosby and Michael Jackson. Griffin was (and continues to be) a supporter of the two men who have faced an onslaught of ridicule for sexual allegations in numerous separate cases. "There is a systematic effort to destroy every Black male entertainer's image," Eddie told DJ Vlad. "They want all of us to have an asterisk by our name." Griffin believes, like Michael and Bill, that most African-American male entertainers are singled out for their illicit behavior. "Nobody leaves this business clean," he stated while pointing out the cases of others. "You're not going to die clean."
Watch as Eddie Griffin provides some comedy in the midst of Bill Cosby's impending trials above

+zlistcelebrity Yea, the first time I read that was in the late 80's, or early 90's when a lot of books about the Zen of this or that were coming out, or the "philosophy" of this or that tv show or character, I remember there were books about the so called "philosophy" of Dr. House, Sainefield, Winnie the Poo, The Simpsons, etc... in fact back then it made me stop running ("traveling") so much and deal with my shit, the shit we all carry from growing up, and question all, ABSOLUTELY ALL well intentioned ideas I was given or indoctrinated with, It takes YEARS of introspection, not all of it comfortable, to deal with it or at least with what can be dealt with... I used to move every few months and "travel" almost every month, sometimes I didn't even unpack!! but it is true Wherever you go you take yourself, your mind, with you!! When I heard it in this video it reminded me of those years.

D All of them were not telling the truth in whole or in part. The one that he got convicted for actually contradicted herself multiple times. @@gboot2786 Yeah i did, and there is no way 50 women can lie in the same fashion, most of them described exactly the same pattern, of drugging and having sex with them while incapacitated. Also, most of his colleagues from that era in Hollywood knew everything, it was well know fact about him.

Come on. Its easy to answer that question. "Hey, this is Bill, I was going over some of your lines for your potential scene and part, but I need some input from you. I dont have much time until my next gig, so I need you to come to my hotel room to talk about it." Thats it. He had all the power, and if these women wanted to be in showbusiness, they go to his hotel room to talk about the acting part. That does not mean they wanted to get raped.

Michael was a demigod on earth bro !!!! it doesn't matter how much he owned or how much he was making per day , all that mattered was him walking on stage with lights on him , a glove , sparkling socks , a hat and the intro of "Billy Jean" playing … It didn't matter if you knew English or not , Michael was speaking the body language on stage fluently so everybody was taking the message loud and clear , no matter what . Personally I was devastated the day his death was announced . Years after that day I am still watching out people to imitate or try to imitate his moves and brings him back for few moments . To me that's special , it is immortality , the legend is still alive . God bless you , God bless the souls of Michael and Whitney .

Went to school in the suburbs and kids never got in trouble for weed or childish bad behavior. Everyday I would take that bus back to the hood and see brothers get records for things the police let slide in the burbs. fact. no card being pulled just face. From age 5 until 18 I witnessed that consistently. Brothers can't even get a job for weed possession yet kids in the burbs were beating coke charges,dui charges with no record. Truth.

I live my life seeing these things but you got to understand one thig. As you get older and wiser you will realize that the reason they come down so hard on people in the hood is because it's a whole other world out here. Bunch of kids slanging weed or coke doesn't mean shit in the burbs but if you're dealing in the hood your likely to get stomped out or shot. That leads to violence and higher police response

I don't go one way or another with it, because I don't believe half of what comes out of hollywood and there's always shady things happen there... But what I will say is that some of the most terrible people I've known, didn't sit back cackling and made their bad deeds known. They were Machiavellian, smiled and laughed with people and well-liked. Some were even "pillars of the community". One was even a large donor to some churches and he was a director of a local charity. But what most people didn't know is what they did when they weren't in the spotlight. Everything from wife beaters and abusive fathers/mothers, to using these their reputation to harm others, to being lowkey slumlords who caused irreparable harm to others so they could lower property values so they could buy them up, to rapists and even a pedophile who went overseas under the guise of charity work - but they were abusing teenage girls overseas. The worst villains don't make their deeds known. They aren't obvious. They hide behind good deeds, good works and build wonderful reputations. And it's amazing how people will defend, stick up for and make excuses for a person (even when confronted with irrefutable evidence) when they are well-liked, popular, loved and/or have a great reputation.

Niko Washington doesn't really matter if they were doing there. Doesn't excuse drugging raping someone. Perhaps you'd feel different if it was your wife or Mom? Or perhaps if your daughter went to the room of a married Man , it really doesn't matter what happens after that, right? She's fair game, drop some pills in her glass and go to town. She asked for it.
@ericrhodes9467
@ericrhodes9467 6 жыл бұрын
In those days, everybody was doing drugs and shit. What other reason does any person have going with a stranger, to a hotel room? Nobody asked for anything. But don't feign ignorance, 30 years of it at that. A man couldn't bring up that type of allegation. He would be made a joke and a fraud. Just think about the circumstances, and things don't add up.
@josephjohnroe3678
@josephjohnroe3678 6 жыл бұрын
Scotty P why do people keep using this 30 year argument? There are accusations from as recently as 2008, which by the way, took place at the Playboy mansion. Does him being at the Playboy mansion add up with his legacy? Going to a room does not equate to do what you want. "Why would you go to the room of a known married Man". Hmmmm, why would a known married Man, especially one that so many people use his reputation and image as a defense, bring another Woman to his room? The fact that this idiot makes the comments " all these bitches" and it "was a different time", was simply a way to try to justify what happened. Also the idea that Bill Cosby "was going to buy NBC" and that is why he is being railroaded is also another misconception. Cosby showed interest in purchasing NBC, though he never would have been close to having the financing, way back in 1992, but people see a news blip and run with a conspiracy theory. Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Bill Cosby and all of the rest of them are scumbags who used their power and influence to take advantage of Women, and I'm some cases, young boys. They all need to be torn apart and completely erased from societies memory.

Khalid Thomas Morons like you, never know what they're talking about...never! Roman Polanski was never around to answer the charges, because he fled the country, like Eddie Griffith said. If Roman sets foot on American soil again, he would be arrested for raping that underaged girl in the spa. And he knows that. Eddie Griffith is spot on, and knows what he's talking about. Know the facts and what you're talking about Khalid. Before you try to criticize somebody. And make yourself look foolish doing that. 💯
@khalidnamar8723

Aaron Verico1 You obviously don't read well. Where did I adress Roman Polanski genius? I specifically mentioned Cosby fan boy. If you think Eddie Griffin is a philosopher then than says a lot about you. Eddie Griffin isn't bright or funny and neither are you. He doesn't know the f*@&# he's talking about. 1. All the woman didn't have the same story. All didn't take place in a hotel room. One in his home, some back stage and others at other locations. 2. The accusations span over 40 years. They weren't from 40 years ago. 3. Roman Polanski fled long before he could be charged. What the fcku does that have to do with anything? Let me tell you about facts: many people live good lives and and go away peacefully. If you do dirt then you will pay at some point. This "they won't let you..." is garbage. He's a dumbass and bringing up Roman Polanski from the 70's when he fled is idiotic. Stfu.
@aaronverico1396
@aaronverico1396 6 жыл бұрын
Khalid Thomas Wow, Khalid. You're even more dumb and clueless than I thought, dude. freddyvidz' 'spot on' comment, is addressing Roman Polanski. You responded to freddievidz, and your comment doesn't specifically mention Bill Cosby at all. Look.at it genius. You only mention somebody fleeing in the 70's, which Roman Polanski did, after raping that underaged girl. So even if your comment was directed at Bill Cosby, why would you do that, when freddievidz is clearly talking about Roman Polanski? That doesn't make any sense. But then again, you don't at all anyway, Khalid. Lol. So my comment about Roman, has everything to do with addressing what freddievidz was saying. You just somehow missed that. In the case of Roman Polanski, the reason why he hasn't paid the price for what he did, is because he fled America. And none of the countries he lived in, would arrest and extradite him back to the U.S. So your talk about people living good lives, and going away peacefully, doesn't apply to Roman Polanski; if you are assuming that he lived a good life, and went away peacefully; without doing anything wrong. He did something completely deplorable and criminal. If Roman ever set foot on American soil, he would pay the price for it. Even after 40 years. Now, when did I ever say Eddie Griffith was a philosopher, or anything about him or Bill Cosby in my comment, Khalid? I didn't, I was addressing Roman Polanski, which was clear in my comment. You just made a bunch of wrong assumptions, about my opinion on them. So I'll correct you now, and tell you how I really feel. I don't know if Bill Cosby actually drugged and raped all of those women. But whether it's one telling the truth or all of them, Bill Cosby deserved to go to jail a long time ago. If any of the allegations are true. One one hand maybe there is some truth to what Eddie Griffith is saying. About the entertainment industry liking to put some sort of taint, on Black actor's names. But on the other hand, you don't want to give them the chance to do it. And I think Bill Cosby, Michael Jackson, and O.J. Simpson for example, did. So in their cases, you couldn't say "they won't let you." Because they caused their own problems. So I disagree with Eddie on that actually. Bill, Michael, and O.J. were kings of the entertainment and sports industries. Until the murders, allegations and scandals came out. So basically Khalid, you are the idiotic one, man. If your comment wasn't about Roman Polanski, then you shouldn't have even commented to him. Because his comment clearly was. And then you say Negroes never know what they're talking about, never. I don't know if you're Black or not Khalid, but that's a very wrong, prejudiced, and stupid statement to make, in any case. The really funny part to all of this is, you've shown that you never know what you're talking about, never. In your own comments on this thread. The one who really needs to drink a tall glass or cup of STFU, is you again, Khalid. Drink up dude. 🍵 Lol. 😂😎💯
@aaronverico1396
@aaronverico1396 6 жыл бұрын
Khalid Thomas Lol, you know what Khalid? You're not dumb. You'd actually have to study really hard, to reach the level of dumb. Your name calling doesn't faze me, that's all you can do, since you don't have any intelligence, or reading comprehension skills. Compare your resume with mine? 😂 You don't have a resume. Or common sense. Again, freddyvidz comment was about Roman Polanski. So how stupid do you look, criticizing him and alleging that Bill Cosby fled in the 70's? Go back and read your own moronic comments. This is what you said, Khalid. If your parents' plan was to raise you to be a complete dumbass Khalid, they succeeded greatly. You came onto freddyvidz' thread, ranting about Bill Cosby, when he's talking about Roman Polanski. Then talk prejudiced, about Black people not knowing what they're talking about. When in actuality, you don't know what you're talking about. You can ignore me, Khalid; like you ignore your mom sucking my dick, and kissing you and your dad; when she's finished swallowing my seeds, bitch. Lol. 🍆💦👄😎💯

This is the dumbed comment I've ever heard. My friends who are white, Asian, Hispanic, Indian, etc., all have "gravity." That's because I surround myself with good people. Stop with your racism. You make the rest of us look bad.

This is true, I’m waiting to see what they’ll pin on Lebron James when he retires

Or even when he dies, Lebron James has to be one of the biggest African American influences to date, and there hasn’t been any scandal on him. Faithful to his wife, loves his kids and even invests in other students education. Like you can’t pin anything bad on Bron outside the NBA cause the way he carries himself. Bet some people are gonna make some outlandish shit with him just to stir controversy
