Its a crazy amount of force he can produce. But the title of the video says 750kilo deadlift. This does not equal lifting 750kilo on a bar of the floor. Clickbait title.

They should have had the bar close to the floor, not near lockout. Everyone is stronger near the top, eddie is still super strong and can lift way more than me.

@DontStandForNothing well Eddie said he could generate 500kg into the floor and asked if he could generate more and this test suggests he could deadlift 750kg but that's not the case you'd have to test his strength at the most difficult part of the lift to get a idea of what he could lift.

@OfficialStrongmancom not necessarily everyone's body has different leverages and I'm the same height as Eddie and for me the initial lift off the floor is the hardest if I can get it a few inches off the floor I know I'll lift it, granted I'm no strong man so maybe at heavier weights it's different but there is no harm discussing it.

@piratebot13 I mean if you look at the contraption, the bars adjustable so they probably take into account the person height for their measurements.

and if I had pulled in my best form when I lifted 501 kg...it would probably have been about 900 kg

Nah he does not it is not offically the world record. To put it in perspective when Eddie here pulled 500 the world record was 463 he did 465 before then.

@@user-jt6qd8ri4l And just so you know one of the reasons why it does not count is because it was not done in competition it was training. The weight had no independent judging. But I am not suprised you got tricked into thinking it was really the case.
