acetone dissolves cyanoacrylate The curing reaction is exothermic (produces heat) so superglue on direct skin contact is capable of causing burns As the water in the skin is what causes the cyanoacrylate to bond - water is NOT a good idea to apply if the glue is still wet as it can speed up the curing and worsen a burn

In Russia, free medical insurance from the state for everyone (a piece of paper) is Compulsory medical insurance. The legacy of the traditions of the USSR. Not perfect, but generally normal. These are trauma centers for first aid, first aid, consultations, surgeries* and even dentistry (full range of services) All this is for the citizens of the Russian Federation. But let's say if you are an American who came to us and God forbid something happened to you, they will help you and will not bill you for it. Also, of course, we have private clinics. For example, I cured 5 teeth in them for about 1300 bucks. And extended insurance for these very clinics from your employer, and you don't have to pay for it either. But there are only consultations and a good discount on dentistry. But I've never used this insurance.

@@Splatcake yeah had a coworker stupidly glue his fingers together was horrific because was his own fault he's been there longer than me, but complacency and all that.. he decided no hospital he was going to use a razor with his off hand, but luckily not too much and spread his fingers apart hurt but no blood. I generally wear gloves or just extremely careful with how i deal with it. But a lot of people don't realize it's not a joke or forget how serious that glue can get
