Eddie Hall is a good guy, who is trying to broaden his horizons, and isn't ashamed to admit that just because he is strong, it doesn't mean he is the hardest man in the room. He didn't kick up a fuss, about it. He just got back on the horse. Also shout out to Tom Aspinall. In a sport filled with "Characters" who think saying the worst thing imaginable is a long term strategy to honor and fortune, Aspinall is one of the outliers.

Edward Stephen Hall was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme on 15 January 1988.[4] As a teenager, he was a successful competitive swimmer in his age group; he competed in the UK Nationals swimming competition in 2001, winning four gold medals and one silver while setting two British records in the process.[11][12] He attended Clayton Hall Academy, but was expelled at the age of 15 and began homeschooling.[13] At the age of 16, he began an apprenticeship as a technician at Lex Commercials, the local DAF Trucks site in Stoke-on-Trent. lol eddie is very talented. was on olympic squad for swimming as teen, first ever to deadlift 500kg (around 50kg more than previous record thats stood for ages), WSM champ and many world records on top of that. and did it very young. He has done all kinds of athletic things in his videos, at fricken 165-170kg bw. thats TALENT.

I liked eddy when aspinall leg kicked him at like 10% strength with pads and eddy admitted it hurt like hell and didn't want anything to do with leg kicks from tom anymore. Even gave some little kid his props by acting very hurt, which I'm sure it did, but he could've downplayed it easily with his pain tolerance.

Eddie Hall is NOTHING like Bradley Martin, Eddie is actually a world champion. He won Strongman, and tries out everything, but is always extremely humble to the pros of that discipline, in both accomplishments and personality, exact opposite of Bradley.

I watched all of Eddie’s boxing training videos in preparation for his boxing match with Thor, and his coaches never addressed the issue with his hands being far too low. I am a fan of Eddie, but he didn’t come across as a good student in those videos, and Thor did in his and it showed massively in the fight. Eddie also only ever really sparred his mate. I saw this video when it came out and it seems like he learned his lesson from it and is now training with proper training partners and coaches. Happy to see it

He just can't lift his hands up. He's too musclebound and he just can't protect himself properly because of it. Hafthor actually did it right and lost a lot of muscle mass for the fight. Eddie just didn't want to commit to it. He already thought he could fight even before starting his boxing training. I see MMA going a lot worse than the Thor boxing match.

As others have said, Eddie Hall is an athlete not just an influencer. He’s also going against seasoned heavyweights whereas Bradley seems to enjoy speculating. I’d say Eddie tries a bunch of different things even Sumo and gives it a good go and is seemingly enjoying it.

Nah the issue with Jon is that he wants to continue fighting, also he isn't past his prime either, he just simply didn't want to fight Francis because Jon likes being a bully, same thing with Tom, Jones will happily fight Stipe because he thinks Stipe isn't that good, but he doesn't want to fight Tom because of how good he is, it's a shame really, no one asks these people to get into the fight business, yet they come here and start acting weird around tough opponents

I think the issue with Jones is his lack of discipline, it's what's caused all of the controversy throughout his career, both inside and outside of the ring.

Big strong heavily muscled guys are loaded with slow twitch muscle. Fighters if they are any good are loaded with fast twitch. In a fight between the 2 the fast twitch will have big advantages, unless it goes to the ground.

To speak on the Aspinall Jones thing - The fans are valid for wanting to see that fight strictly because Jon won't vacate the belt. Like Mighty was saying it won't affect his legacy to give up the belt before the Stipe fight but if he's considered the active champion then there needs to be a title unification bout.

100%. Jon should relinquish the title. He just had ANOTHER surgery so its going to be a while until hes back. No need to have Tom on the sidelines getting cold. I would even be okay if once Jones is ready, he gets an immediate fight with whoever the champ is at that time, as long as it's not like 5+ years away that is. Lol.

fighting is weird growing up my brother used to kick the crap outta me all the time along with a bunch of other adults in my life but something weird happens where you realize you don't need to close your eyes all the time your still gonna get hit and seeing it at the very least you see an opening, so when you fight back they don't know what the hell happened and they stop afterwards for some strange reason.

When I fight I like to use my height to my advantage. I'm 6'5". Skinny a/f. But If I can keep them outside the "void", while I'm outside the " void", and use my long slender man arms and legs to touch you its a good night, leaving red corner confused and frustrated......

I think this was one of the reasons he lost out against Thor - he needs to work on defense. I understand Eddie is a beast on the offense but if he could have an ironclad defense he would be even more dangerous. Letting the waves crash till he gets his moment to strike - there is more than enough power. I think in gamer terms they call this a glass cannon..
